I met Chris about 18 months ago and he has given me continuous updates over the months for canopy support brackets for my Hilux. Always answered any questions I’ve had and been in constant contact. I was after a key for my Hilux hardlid as i'd lost the original, went to Toyota and they wanted $135 I called EGR they sent me two which I received in 2 days for only $49 very happy as they worked with no issue.

The products are very well made and I am very happy with them but it was difficult to make contact to purchase them, I had left messages and emails with not response. I continued to call because I wanted your particular product.

-7 day expected fitment time on buying product, was closer to a month -1 day quoted fitment, garage needed it for 2 days. Was told product didn't fit properly on phone and had to wait for EGR rep to see, on 2nd day no one could explain the issue to me. -not convinced issue was resolved correctly, when closing at end of roller door cycle the operation is notchy and not smooth. 2x has stopped during beginning of opening operation and had to press buttons again -on pick up was told I owed another $800 for fitment even though it had been paid for. Found service staff were quite rude and accusing of myself that I had done something wrong, for $4000 roller I expect better Pulled keys from table like I would steal vehicle and was unprofessional when I explained that if the cost was $4800 I would have gone genuine or it would have been fitted in my place of work
Got my canopy fitted but they couldn't get the remote locking to work. Finally found a broken wire that took 5hrs. On top of that they scratched the crap out of my tub brand new car. Sad for paying top dollar for the canopy. canopy got fitted at Adventure off road slacks Creek.
Very good service parts all fit well but maybe a handle on rear canopy glass for opening
The canopy still after having replaced the button 3 times now on the rear window to open it still is a problem, it will not inlock, contacting warranty as suggested was a waste of time. EGR need to update the mechanism so that it will work under all conditions I will never recommend this product. To add as per your request, I sent a letter with details which EGR auto would have got Feb this year, I never got a reply.
Like someone a few comments below, my rear window on my canopy exploded on its own. It’s all caught on my security camera which shows nothing around that may have caused this. Was told even though it’s only been installed for just over 12 months it would not be covered by warranty as it might have had a stone chip and if not then it’s just bad luck and must of been from the heat (day in the low 30’s) If it wasn’t caught on camera I wouldn’t believe it myself. So now I’m supposed to pay $880 + for a new back window and just hope I have better luck that it doesn’t explode again. The only positive thing is it didn’t happen 10mins later when my 2 young children walked past through all the glass and cop it in the face. If you live any where even remotely warm avoid this product.
