Jun 23,2018We enjoyed our stay with Elan and the starter pack, linen and towels are a nice touch. The interior of the property was clean and tidy with no complaints. Being the owner of a property maintenance company I have to say the exterior of the property could use some maintenance, there were some cedar shakes missing randomly from the siding and one of the front wooden steps was warped and sticking up in the air so I stomped it down so no one would trip and fall. I know the salt air is hard on the exterior of these homes and they require constant maintenance but the exterior of this home could have used some attention before rental season started. In a community of many beautiful homes this home stood out as the black sheep as we rode around the neighborhood on our bikes. To be fair the rental price for this property was very reasonable in my opinion and may have reflected that it may have needed some sprucing up on the exterior but hard to tell from the pictures. My only other complaint was that we like to do a lot of grilling out and the grill brush at the home had not one bristle left on the brush as it was literally just the handle itself making it impossible to clean the grill grate, I had to ball up some aluminum foil to try and clean the grate. Not a big issue but ended up being a pain by the end of the week. We would consider renting with Elan again but we'd probably chose a different property.

Jun 13,2018Wonderful stay at Sea Sunrise. Perfect location just a few steps to the beach. Wonderful restaurants and sights. Elan was quick to solve any issues and answer questions. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend this oasis in south Nags Head.

Jun 13,2018Good rental just off the beach. Easy reservation process and friendly, responsive personnel at Elan. Smooth check in and check out. We had a group of eleven (eight adults, three kids) and had plenty of space. Having a bathroom for each bedroom and all linens included was a big plus. Decent pool and spa, and plenty of kitchen accessories for use. Easy access to the beach, short two minute walk, and plenty of dining, grocery and shopping options close by. The beds and pillows weren’t very comfortable. The wi-fi was out for most of our stay, and had to pause for technicians to enter and repair the issue on two separate days. The tub in one of the bathrooms was stopped up to the point of having to use plunger to release the blockage. In all, good rental property for the price.

Jun 13,2018Great for families! We had 3 kids 3 and under, the place worked out great! Not as convenient for older people who may have trouble doing a lot of steps, especially the steps to the beach were difficult for our grandmother. We hope to be back some day and will definitely look for a house throughout Elan again!

Jun 12,2018After many years of vacation in OBX, it was nice to get into the house @ 3 pm. Leaving for 9 am was better with traffic. The hotdogs and drinks on the way to the beach was a nice break. Parking at Elan's was easy. When one of the beds at the house wasn't made, they came right away. the house was a great location for the sound and beach, able to walk without problems

Jun 12,2018Great people always got right back to me when I had a question had a little problem with the bird in the vent they somebody there the next morning took care of it location was great the house was great only thing was the weather and that is not in their control but the last days were absolutely gorgeous would go back there or one of their other locations in a heartbeat

Jun 26,2018Elan Vacations made it so easy to rent our vacation home in the Outer Banks. Check in and check out process was so simple. When we got to the house, it was a little dirty and the pool had sand in it. Elan Vacations was notified, and the cleaning service came that same day to clean the entire house, and the pool was vacuumed the next morning. We were more than happy with the quick response to these issues. I would definitely use Elan Vacations again!
