You are penalized if your shiping and billing address is a "forwarder". I have been through the shipping FAQ and I must have missed this part. Due to issues with vandalism, mail theft, and package theft, I am forced to receive my mail and packages at a UPS store. This address is perfectly fine and acceptable for everyone else ( utilities, government, major online retailers ), but Electromaker refused to ship a simple $30 item because my shipping and billing addresses are the same private mailbox address and listed as a "forwarder". Kinda guts the fun of exploring something new when shipping to your billing address is denied. Edit October 05, 2024 Electromaker reached out to say we are sorry, it is our policy ( not part of the shipping page, so a "surprise!" policy ), call us and we will see if something can be worked out. The issue with this is I provided various alternatives during several email exchanges, including shipping via UPS or FedEx to my house, but was told my billing address at a "forwarder" would prevent any possible option to send a shipment to me. During several email exchanges, Electromaker made it clearly known they were not interested in a compromise and unless my billing address was not at the UPS store ( the "forwarder" ) and the shipment was not sent to the UPS store, there is no path forward. It is important to note, I provided alternatives. while Electromaker provided none and responded to everything with a "No". To think Electromaker leaves a response with "call us and we will see if something can be worked out" when several emails indicated nothing can be worked out and they had no interest in a path forward. Electromaker may be doing something nice, but customer focused, they are not.

My item was stuck in the clearance process for almost a month and I still haven't received the item yet. The problem started when I requested a change of billing address. The reason was that the billing subject was named after the company where I work. Since it is a personal purchase (not a company purchase), I might get in trouble, so I suggested changing it to my personal name and personal address. I agreed and I was asked by the clearance brokerage to submit some documents. One of the documents was a statement shipper. It is basically the shipper (Electromaker) saying that it is indeed my order and my request to change the address and receiver. The other was to change the billing address in the invoice. That's it! However, the CS I am in contact it refused to do so. Instead, she asked me to contact UPS directly. They, too, refused to fill out the shipper statement and invoice change. It is almost a month. My item is already in the warehouse. The request was so simple. But why wouldn't you help me out? If your CS isn't capable of helping me, she should ask someone else in your company who can help me and be in contact with me. At this point, I don't even know whether I will receive my item or not.

I was in the market for a double coin cell battery compartment for a special project and after searching the web the for 20 minutes or so I, came across a photo of the item and clicked on the sponsor link under Electromaker. The item was ordered, a confirmation email was sent and 3 days later UPS sent a confirmation of shipping for the item. A few days later UPS confirmed a delivery date, the day of delivery went on into the evening when another update was sent by UPS informing me that my package had been damaged some how during the delivery phase and would be returned back to the shipper. Once I informed the company about what happened the immediately sent out a replacement that arrived in 2 days which was much faster than the original order, the only reason why I rated this transaction 4 Stars is the amount time it took to get the product minus the UPS incident.

It was great. It was shipped on time and delivered on time. The thing I didn't like was they got spam mail from USPS that told me I owed them another $0.18 to get it delivered which was a hack to my account

Usually never have a problem. This time I order a item that said was in stock. Over the weekend. Tuesday get a email stating was on backorder. I emailed when they expected to ship. Was told they didn't not have a ship date and was working on getting one. I called and emailed multiple times trying to cancel that item. Took almost a full day.
