Feb 26,2025They seemed legit until the end. Quoted a price and the day before they were set to get my cars the price increased another $700. And on top of that they came a day early because they said the market was all of a sudden dry from the week before when I paid the deposit til the pick up. The carrier was good. He came on time (was told he never knew it was for the day after and would have been better if it was) and he showed me his payment agreement and it was far less than what the broker told me. They told me 1350 was going to the carrier and he only got paid 750. So they lied to me about the commission they were making and changed the pick up date at the last minute. I got a call at 1pm that they were coming that day at 5-6 even though the agreement was for the following day. Made me change all my plans and get a rental an extra day. I would be cautious and expect to pay more than quoted. In my case, I paid almost double what they quoted me and was contacted for. Oh and everyone who answers the phone seems to think their name is Jacob.

Gotta notifcation that he was going to be able to beat out the competition with pricing, and Fairway Logistics has a great rating so I took it. Due to holidays and other reasons, he couldn't keep the price that we originally agreed upon but still went out of his way to continue negotiating with the transporter to get the best price for me.
