Oct 03,2024I worked with Sam Allen - nice guy and I did move my car cross country without any issues. However, their initial quote was towards the lower end of all my quotes but the company seemed trustworthy so I signed. So after taking my deposit they sat on the order for about 2 weeks without confirming my carrier, then just a day or two before my targeted shipping date, they said they found a carrier with a 2X higher price then they quoted me. I am disappointed about that part. I feel that paying a deposit gave them a lot of leverage and they may have chosen to wait until the last minute to confirm my carrier - I don't know. Their final price was actually higher than most of the quotes I had received initially so I probably could have gone with any other broker for the same price.

Sep 26,2024Many times, Jacob Miller sent me the same quote of $500. So finally, I said how are you any different? The price isn't known until the carrier provides a price to Fairways. He gave me vagospeak that they were different. Sure enough, after I signed a contract, and put down $$, the real price came back at $950. I said no. Later the carrier came down $100, so total was $850. The Carrier was great, no problems
