I booked a reservation. It was a flight from STL to HRL. It took three attempts before the reservation went through. When it finally did, I was given a confirmation number for the reservation and charged $350. I called my bank to see if the purchase had gone through and they said I was not charged anything. I called and spoke to customer service, they said they couldn't find the reservation. I was transferred to another person and all of a sudden they found the reservation. But they said the prices were no longer available and it would have to be $485.The representative told me that if I didn't want to pay that much then I could fly American Airlines. I got tired of talking to them and hung up. I called my daughter and told her what happened. She called FareOGlobe on a three way conversation. When she called (less than ten minutes later), she was told they would charge her $491. Then she told the representative my reservation was confirmed for $350. The rep came back and said the lowest he could go was $435 because that's what Southwest was charging. My daughter got upset and said she wanted it cancelled. The representative repeatedly asked if he should confirm. Finally, he agreed to cancel. This website is a scam! They say they get away with uncharging tickets because on the confirmation payment page it says prices are subject to change. It doesn't say that on the itinerary. Also, I cancelled my reservation and booked the same flight on Southwest for $385... another lie they are telling you. Also, I have no doubt the good reviews on their website are fake. When my daughter brought up seeing that there were so many bad reviews, the representative did not skip a beat and knew they had a 3 star rating. The only reason for that is because with every bad review, they have someone leave a five star review so it balances out to a 3-star rating. In short: DO NOT BOOK WITH FAREOGLOBE!!!!
This is an absolute scam. Do NOT use. They are trying to charge you whatever they can for services (like change fees, extension fees, etc) that the airlines themselves manage for free. Call the airline directly. Do NOT, under any circumstances, use this service. AND, if you are unlucky enough to get "Jason Rash" servicing you, be prepared for the rudest encounter you'll experience with "customer service."
Scammers. My husband went on line to change his Southwest flight. They stated they were Southwest and that he couldn’t change flight at airport. They also told him only one seat was left and charged him $85. He got to airport and flight was nearly empty.
Posed as Alaska Airlines by advertising against "Alaska Airlines contact number" on Google. I called to ask about a reservation and they wanted to charge me an additional $200 because apparently the system was down at the time I booked and I was undercharged (when I booked directly through Alaska, not some third-party). I contacted Alaska afterwards and they said this company is a notorious scammer and not affiliated.
FareOGlobe is a massive platform for airline reservation and travel offers.
My initial experience, if I were the chief, is not how I would want the company's services provided to the consumer. However, your business truly has a most valued member and certainly an asset to the team. He was most helpful and understanding and I appreciate his resolve to my situation. His phone etiquette is spot on! He turned my less than favorable rating into 5 STARS!! Keep your eye on him. He is going places!
This company is a scam and is bidding on Google keywords such as "Alaska Reservations" -- when I called and asked if it was Alaska reservations they said it was although they are NOT. They charged me $100 for a flight change despite there being no change fee and now I'm unable to get through to them to receive a refund. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE and give any information to these scam artists
Harris (ext 419, supervisor William) is the definition of amazing customer service. I called to see if me and my family can get a refund on a trip that had to be cancelled due to new COVID restrictions in Hawaii. These restrictions were put into place 3 days before our flight, making it impossible to travel. Harris was understanding, kind, and friendly. He tried his very best to look into trying to provide a refund. As you know these times are very uncertain and difficult for all of us. Even though we were not able to get the refund without a fee, the effort and time Harris put into it left me very pleased. Harris is an example Of what every employee in customer service should be like. I travel frequently and he has been the most kindest and understanding employee I have ever spoken to. It’s people like him that make the world better. Please acknowledge Harris for the amazing work he does. You are very lucky to have him. Stay safe and healthy!
TOTAL SCAM. They pretended to be Alaska Airlines and then charged me $300 for booking tickets that I could have booked myself online. DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. Make sure the number you're calling is the REAL airline. When I called the next day because I hadn't received the information they'd said would come through, I couldn't get anyone. I'm furious and frustrated –– do not be taken in by these people!
