Mar 06,2019Top quality service, brought my nissan micra in here and they managed to sort me out on a tight budget especially being a college student at Greenhead after being quoted £100 more from a well known garage to repair my car. Would highly recommend this garage, they know what they’re doing.

Mar 06,2019Even the small jobs are nothing too much of a trouble. Been coming here for a few years now and nothing seems to be too much hassle for these guys. This time around I need a puncture repair but unfortunately the nail had gone through the sidewall. Offered me a range of tyres to suit my budget. Asif and Matt both have great knowledge in vehicle repairs and always make you feel welcome no matter how big or small the job is. Located very near to the University so can easily drop my car in and walk to work.

Mar 06,2019Rang up on the off chance as in the morning before going to work my car dashboard was showing a red warning light. Natalie the manager said to me come down straight away as this could be something serious. Turned up to a clean welcoming premises and they had my details ready. I left my car and took their courtesy car to work. Within an hour I had a full vehicle health check report and identified the problem. It was something to do with my engine. The quote given I could not afford in one go so they offered 4 month free finance payments which was really useful. Honest and friendly staff, good at explaining without being patronising! Would highly recommend.

Feb 25,2019Very pleased with the friendly and efficient service received from Five Star Autocentre. Initial phone contact from the reception the day before to conform my appointment. When I arrived all the paperwork was ready on the desk. No hangng around and seen to on time. The premises looks modern and clean. The two ladies behind the desk were very helpful and polite and the Manager Natalie was a gem. I had a Mot done with some repairs carried out. Excellent quote with zero percent finance available. My overall experience was a positive one.

Feb 25,2019Top quality workmanship, prompt and efficient garage. Listened to my problems of a high pitched noise coming from the rear wheel as I was driving, Had it at another garage who diagnosed it as new brakes needed as they were binding. Asif the master technician at Five Star said its unusal as the noise is stil present without the brakes being applied. He took the car for a test drive, bought it back placed it on the ramp. Took the wheel off and out came a small stone which was the cause of the problem. Problem solved and best part no charge! He said he did not replace anything so no cost.

The service manager Natalie was very helpful. Thank you for your effort in seeing me and getting my Audi threw it’s serive and MOT. Will be recommending this garrage to family and friends will see you next year for my service and mot.

Feb 19,2019Great recommendation by a friend, booked my MOT on Friday night at 10pm on the web for Saturday morning slot for the following day at 9am! no issues. To my surprise when I arrived all my paper work was ready and they began the MOT straight away when I turned up, being a young woman I didn't feel intimidated or taken for a ride at any point - they were polite, friendly, and most importantly took the time to show me the advisories via an Ipad video and pictures on the underside of the car so I knew what needed fixing. Will definitely come back here and highly recommend them to family and friends. I have been using this garage for over 8 years. I bring my BMW 320 here for its MOT,Servicng, tyres and anything else it needs. Initially I discovered this garage via an examiner article being the winner of business of the year. Since then have not looked at going anywhere else. Only down side is they are too busy and can’t always see to me there and then on demand. I would advise best to call up first and make an appointment as not be disappointed.

Absolutely dependable, fair and exceptionally gifted, they fix vehicles not at all like a lot of other garages who just replace the parts. A well known main dealer wanted over £700 to repair my car. These guys settled it all around great for £400, and demonstrated to me what they had done and how they had solved the problem. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

Feb 13,2019Fantastic family run garage and great people behind the desk especially Natalie and Laurie. Totally reliable, honest and highly skilled, they fix cars unlike a lot of modern main dealers who only replace parts. An Isuzu main dealer quoted me £900 plus vat plus fitting. These guys fixed it as good as new for £80, and showed me what they had done and how they had fixed it. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Feb 12,2019I had broken down nearby and the RAC brought me here as Five Star was their approved garage. Five Star managed to squeeze me in even though they car park was full to the brim. All ramps are visible from with in the reception waiting area with the technicians working on the cars. I was very surprised as to how clean the garage was. My car required a new clutch and flywheel. Five Star could not complete the work on the day but allowed me the use of their loan vehicle free of charge which came in really handy to carry on with my daily activities. I’m not technically minded but they have given me a 2 year warranty on the clutch which makes me feel reassured should in the unfortunate even t things go wrong. Thank you RAC.

Feb 11,2019Placed my 4 year old work van in for an mot. I wasn't expecting any problems and thier wasn’t. It passed no problem unlike some places where I have been in the past who want to charge you for all sorts of work before passing you. I will definitely be going back. Great gem of a find in Huddersfield. I have been using them for years for all the cars in the family. I have found them to be very fair in doing MOTs and any repairs required are carried out satisfactory level. They are an RAC approved garage which gives even more reassurance its in the best hands. Will continue to use them. They provide a great service in my opinion.

Feb 09,2019Booked in for a a clutch job on my Audi A6 2012. Was recommended by the RAC to use this garrage as I had broke down. Can not fault their service. Was provided a loan vehicle whilst mine was in for repair. Was provided a detailed quotation prior to any commencing of any work. Which was reassuring. I was sent over a VHC check of my vehicle as they had it in, as a duty of care they had sent me over a video detailing the condition of my cars health check. As I had seen the video and condition of my clutch it was is was reassuring to say I had made the correct choice to have chosen this garrage. They do say a picture speaks a thousand words. They also had bought to my attention that I had a oil leak and it was worth while to have it sorted at the same time as they were in the area of where their were working which would have reduced the labour cost. Baragain. Not only ohnest but transparent. Know what’s not to like about that 😉. I have no hesitation in recommending five star auto centre to family or friends. I believe I have found a trust worth garrage. Thank you for you loan vehcike and the was and vac was a surprise. Cheers

Mar 08,2019This is a fantastic local garage and so close to town. You can see the mechanics working on the cars at from the waiting area reception window. Free wifi access and a cup of coffee went down well. The knowledge of the staff is fantastic. Previously taken my to a well known main dealer on Leeds Road and yes they did a great job but a not so nice price. The overhead of these main dealers will only pass down the costs to you!! Give this independent place a try like me and you won't be disappointed
