Apr 18,2019My boyfriend and I initially instructed a different solicitors to buy our first home but were completely put off by the big lump of paperwork we recieved in the post to complete and return in order to initiate the process. After a bit more research we found Fletcher Longstaff and we are so glad we did!! Their use of technology is so refreshing. Being able to complete the paperwork using Adobe Sign was amazing. No postal delays to worry about and any mistakes on the paperwork could be quickly nipped in the bud. I did it all from my mobile phone too! We had Andrew and Craig managing our purchase and they were absolutely fantastic. I was so impressed with how quickly they responded to emails. Everyone told me that buying a house is a stressful process - but I can honestly say with the help of Fletcher Longstaff, it's been a breeze! :-)

The ability to complete everything but the signing of contracts online made the process easy and simple. Astasia and Jake always responded to emails promptly and I was never left waiting/wondering. I actually only spoke once over the phone to confirm the go-ahead for exchange of contracts. They dealt with everything smoothly and as quickly as they could with no stress on me. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

Apr 09,2019Their claim of "no completion, no legal fee" is misleading. In September 18, we instructed Fletcher Longstaff on the sale of our home and the purchase of another property. Sadly, this fell through in December 18 after it transpired that our buyers did not have a mortgage. Out of the initial £350 that we paid to Fletcher Longstaff, only £111.18 was reimbursed to us, and the rest was kept by Fletcher Longstaff as "non-refundable fees for searches and disbursements". Shame they did **not** find out whether our buyers had any funds, as I had to eventually talk to the buyers **myself** to find that out. Altogether, this leaves us £238.82 out of pocket and with a rather negative experience of that company.

Apr 06,2019I cannot recommend Charlotte Brooker and the rest of the staff at Fletcher Longstaff enough, I have had no experience of buying and selling houses but it soon became apparent that Charlotte and the team were running rings around the other solicitors in the chain. I have now realised that having solicitors that specialise in Conveyancing is so important as they have come across all scenarios countless times and know how to deal with them efficiently.
