Although comprehensive, the course requirements are not quite linked to the video content. A few questions are very open to interpretation, which means the Mentor answers are quite different.
Good experience and nice community
I received a LinkedIn message saying that I have been 'recommended' to be part of the tribe - an elite tribe that includes Nobel laurates and CEOs and then whether I want in. Though it was intriguing and my interest was piqued, my alarm did go off as to whether this was a scam. Previously, I did receive similar requests and that was asked to pay. Perhaps, it would clear the doubts if there is a clear explanation what does GLEAC stand, what do you do, the purpose and objectives. It was strange that I was sent a graphic right after that. Whilst it could be sent with the intention to use humour to connect but it was not aligned with original message sent. That said, I do appreciate the speedy follow up and did find the training videos helpful - short and useful. I did find it strange that there is a 'gauge' of assessment based on similar replies given by others. If it is asking for creative ways to teach / creative solutions, then perhaps the more unusual a reply is, the more creative it is? Hope this review is helpful.
GLEAC community is amazing! People from all over the world with a mentoring mindset!
Its was a pleasent and easy experience.
Interactions with Asma on Mentoring and Skill mapping has been enjoyable. She is articulate, organized and result oriented, clearly the values that GLEAC has and she matches them. I have had the privilege of going through a few of the courses as a mentor and I must say they are well thought out. The interactions with other GLEAC mentors was interesting as it showcased an open mindset and willingness to help and learn. Brilliant set up GLEAC and lovely people handling your interactions, lesson and drive. Asma has been enthusiastic and willing to step in to clarify any doubts I've had so far. Has been such a pleasure interacting with GLEAC.
A new way of learning, getting everything what you need from professionals directly and a great experiance.
I found the event interesting in terms of hearing about new ideas and people interests
this was a great experience very professional
Asma has been proactive and her follow up has been gentle and encouraging without being pushy
GLEAC Mentor Community is fab! A company that practices what it preaches is always one to be trusted. The Mentor community supports and helps build skills amongst one another, so that we are in turn able to support GLEAC in skills building.
Amazing, trusting, positive space
Overall it was a good experience. I think few more skills may be added in the test.
1. Exciting kick off, of the programme. 2. Daily bite sized lessons, reminding you of things and making you put it in practice Overall making us better conscious of our emotions and how to work better with others in a team
I worked with GLEAC as a pilot to keep my team engaged with soft skills training, a critical difference maker in the service industry. We began towards the end of last year, and were able to continue running this during the COVID shut down. Not only did the team express how grateful they were for the training, but my area has outperformed to company standard! My team has consistently delivered the top growth trend over 2019 since we reopened to the public.
As a mentor, there needs to be more emphasis on situations and how a personality and a situation is very unique. Promoting perfect answers in this way doesn’t seem to be compatible with soft skills
GLEAC is a very interesting and meaningful tool for Organisations that really care about understanding the true power of it's workforce. With the importance of soft-skills skyrocketing in the post COVID role, it is not easy for an individual / organisation to objectively introspect what every unit is made up of. I believe that's where GLEAC truly steps in with it's power to help someone understand the real human within each. From an individual perspective, GLEAC surprises you by telling who you're, empathises with you by giving customised learning plans in the way you would like and empowers you by handholding in the journey to become better. The objective approach about breaking down the individual into certain skillset and incentivising to progress in the journey is a delight to every individual. Thus giving Organisations the power to learn the human behind every individual and seeking/giving the right value to the individual.
hi, the portal is not friendly user, once we finish to answering all the question asking for email and the password, once we submitted its not going thru and when i refresh it all gone and need to go back again from the start to answer, it was happen to me many times. and if we start and we didnt finish to answer it should show either we want to continue or start over again. and can you just remove the last question 7. this is my opinion
It was a new experience to think out of box about the industry not familiar with and applying thoughts based on experiences gained from non related industry. It would have been nice to receive a report on what the outcome of the test was to help us reconfirm our strengths and find areas where we could make it stronger
