Teresa arrived to clean for my parents when my mum was in the grip of dementia and has continued to support my dad since her death. Teresa is a trusted and much valued source of support for my dad and I feel secure in the knowledge that she’s there when I cannot be.

You will will not find Good Life Sorted in the Companies House register. I like to know who I am dealing with and give access to my home. When asked, they were very secretive and evasive as to what enterprise they are, and who are the significant persons running the company. Light domestic cleaning is one of the services they advertise. With the onset of rheumatoid arthritis, this is exactly the service I need. The assistant informed me that they are not an agency but they arrange for helpers’ insurance and DBS check, and take 20% of the self-employed helpers’ earnings. They have offered me a lady who, according to her profile, “acts as companion for walks, board games and enjoys conversations about the past” - and charges £17.00 per hour. The payment for service is to be by direct debit, but I was unable to ascertain who the payee is - a freelance helper or Good Life Sorted? I am a semi-retired professional with family, social life, voluntary work and Bruce, the Shetland Sheepdog, who is a perfect companion for our daily walks. I explained that I need practical help, i.e. light domestic cleaning, but I will be reluctant to pay £17.00 per hour for what is essentially an unskilled work. I also stated that I expect the helper to arrive for an initial meeting with proof of identity, valid certificate of insurance and her current DBS certificate. I received a very offhand answer, and was advised to contact a cleaning agency. In my opinion, this organisation is not trustworthy, and targets vulnerable elderly people telling them how their “good life” should be “sorted” - on Good Life Sorted terms. RESPONSE to the director of Good Life Sorted My statement is factually correct and a faithful account of my communications with staff member and her colleague. They were unable to answer my question about the registered company - invisible on Good Life Sorted sleek website. The director was not a party to this communication and her unfounded allegation of falshood in my statement cannot be upheld. FINAL RESPONSE TO the Director The director of Good Life Sorted moves in devious and mysterious ways. She invited me to a telephone conversation to apologise. She did not say that she intends to use this conversation on TrustPilot platform in order to publish a PR/marketing communication for her business. Moreover, the director cites me incorrectly, and her her citation is unauthorised. Our telephone conversation did not set my mind at rest on anything in this matter - as she claims. To my amusement she places Good Life Sorted in the same league as Facebook and Google. Very aspirational, but the big difference is that Facebook and Google do not target vulnerable, elderly people and give their helpers access to vulnerable persons’ homes and private lives. Transparency (evidently lacking) is therefore paramount. I shall not delete or amend my original review. I simply shared truthfully my experience with Good Life Sorted.

Excellent service, very professional, friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. My elderly mother now has a regular visit to help her with a few domestic chores and to accompany her on a short walk if she chooses to go out, or simply to chat over a cup of tea.

I’ve been a helper for GLS now since December 2022. I have 6 clients that I visit between 1-2 hours several times a week.. Just being back in my community with these amazing people that need a little help has been life changing. We support all families that reach out when their grandparents/ parents / siblings need additional help to keep them independently living.

Management and personnel competent and professional we are very pleased with their services. We would not hesitate to recommend them. We are both in our 90s and would not manage without Shani on a range of tasks,

Mum has a lady from Good Life Sorted who comes for one hour a week, and it is such a relief for mum that she can clean, take her out, take her shopping etc, and a relief for the family that there is somebody else going into mums house to check on her, without it being intrusive.

Very disappointing. Quite prepared to provide a service on which I relied, being currently treated for cancer, then dropped for no good reason with absolutely no notice. Discourteous and unprofessional. And dishonest as on day one I requested "cleaning with conversation" I was quite clear about that. Not cleaning ONLY, cleaning with conversation. Which Anna provided. Karen only came four times and I happened to have appointments twice. If I'd only wanted cleaning I wouldn't have contacted you. You're quite prepared to offer an identical service to Michael B. Cleaning & conversation, so why not me? Disappointing, dishonest, discourteous.

Nicky and Karen visited my mum, who had Alzheimers, for over 6 months. They each visited a couple of times each week and went out for walks, prepared food, visited hairdressers etc and had many chats and laughs as well. Mum loved their visits and I felt very reassured someone was visiting when i was working. They always gave me feedback on how their visit went and highlighted any problems. Mum is now in a care home but I am very thankful for GLS for introducing me to the girls. Thank you all.

GLS are an amazing company to work for, you can work at your own pace and get to manage your own schedule. I’ve formed some amazing relationships working with GLS and i’ve not regretted anything about being a helper. I can 100% recommend this company, for work and for help. Although you are still under a company, it’s very independent and person-centred.

I had a fantastic response to my request for help. A helper was found straight away, who came to see me and we agreed on the help he could provide there and then. He had to adjust to me, as I was then, and did so with utmost curtesy, calm and resourcefulness. As time passed, we arranged lifts to changing health appointments, help with shopping and housework. Then I started to improve, and we adjusted to my needs. I have now recovered after 2 months, and hope that someone else will benefit from his kind attention. I found the central office administration of the bills good, but they were not quite aware enough of how to manage someone with temporary needs, as the organisation aims to set fixed contracts with fixed revenues -from which they obviously benefit and which cover their starting and ongoing costs. I was not warned either that for that purpose they wanted to keep my bank card details.

My elderly mum really looks forward to Rachel popping in several times a week for a chat and for some company. Mum has early onset dementia and wants to stay at home but my brother and I live miles way away so it’s a huge relief and help to have someone to check in on her and feedback to us. Rachel is very kind, understanding and has a great sense of humour. Highly recommend this company ..best find ever.

A kind and caring lady from Good Life Sorted visits my 96 year old mother. She chats away and really brightens up the morning for mother. I especially liked the care taken by Good Life Sorted to ensure the lady visiting would be able to cope and she explained exactly what she could/would be able to do. Excellent in all respects.
