I have recently sold a property with Graysons. A simple sale no onward purchase or chain involved. My main issue was the lack of contact on how the sale was progressing and when I did have a query no one would return my calls. I had 3 paralegals working on the sale at different times, one, I never spoke to as he failed to answer my calls and emails. I had to chase for information every step of the way. Even if there was no update, a fortnightly email stating this would have been helpful. At the end of the sale, my invoice was incorrect and I was overcharged. Trying to resolve this was just as frustrating as once again all my emails and phone calls were ignored. My complaint was only resolved after escalated my issues to a Senior Solicitor at the firm.

Katie Bacon and her team were very helpful throughout our house purchase. The transaction lasted several months, initially proceeding slowly, with lots of prompting of the sellers' solicitors required. Katie worked hard to bring everything together, particularly at the very busy period close to the stamp duty holiday deadline, including ensuring that a freehold purchase that was happening simultaneously was successfully transferred to us. I would certainly recommend Graysons for conveyancing, and Katie and her team in particular.

Whilst the completion activity did get done. It was a month later than agreed. It appears the agent dealing was working to a different timeline. Also struggled to get any sort of response to emails or calls throughout the process. Not sure I’d recommend using Graysons again.

Megan my solicitor was superb throughout. Megan always replied within the hour to my many queries and was very knowledgeable. I always felt as though I am kept up-to-date with every stage of the process. I would have given them 5 stars of Megan had been the solicitor from the start.
