Jan 20,2025They are serving substandard meat which isn’t suitable for human consumption. Impossible to cut and cook. Someone needs to do an analysis on this meat and close this place down, utterly awful.

Dec 17,2024Extremely disappointing that no one in store can confirm their halal certification. I called the head office and I was asked to email them for the information, I emailed and it has now been over a month and still no response.

Sep 11,2024Purchased Brazilian marinated chicken thighs and peri peri marinated buffalo wings on 4th September. The date on the chicken said keep refrefirated up to 11 sept. I kept the chicken in the fridge and cooked it all on Saturday 6th September. By Sunday 7th my youngest child was throwing up, stomach pain and diarrhoea, by Monday (10th sep) I’m myself had to leave work and come early as I got taken ill with vomiting and stomach cramps, then by Monday night my eldest and middle daughter followed with the vomiting and then my husband took ill from Tuesday.

Jul 12,2024I had a tremendous service from Mr Faysal at Haji Baba Halal meat at Asda Beddington, Greater London. I did my Qurbani with Haji Baba for the last two years and the way Mr Faysal took the order and eventually delivered it over the last two years were simply awesome. He is a nice polite guy but more importantly serves professionally. The way he cut the sheep and packed it was great! Thank you Haji Baba ad Mr Faysal. I will always recommed you

Jun 17,2024Ordered 2 lamb qurbanis a week before Eid ul adha for pickup from Oldbury. Service was amazing the cutting and packing was more than I expected usually you just get a box but here every piece had its own wrapping to easily distinguish for distribution.

Oct 22,2023Got mince beef and the smell was off from the start but I ignored it and cooked and even then with all the seasoning the smell and taste was off and after hours of consuming it, there's an after taste and food poisoning. As a Muslim I'm disgraced as to how you can call yourself a halal company, better off buying haram and will be better quality than this poor crap you're selling to the people.

Oct 07,2023Products quality smelly and off. Staff saying it was old chicken which was marinated as they can't allow to send products which are out of date back to head office. Birmingham branch small heath chicken was really really bad.

Oct 06,2023I bought 3 weeks ago mince meet from asda haji baba in Walsall. 1 kilo for £12,99 (0_0). Today i went the local butcher and same mince meat for only £8 a kilo. Chicken pieces for £8,99 a kilo at haji baba, while most local butchers for only £5 a kilo. Never ever again, is not that is Wagyu beef from Japan so why your prices are crazy high?.

Aug 08,2023Absolutely extortionate price I paid £20 for a kilo and a half of beef mince. Are they sourcing the rarest beef on the planet. What in the world! Also the meat was nothing special. I will avoid at all cost in the future.

Jul 25,2023As a Muslim i was soo happy to see a halal brand like this but there is a reason why these type of brands will not progress. I went to Leyton Asda to buy the ready to eat chicken they have been advertising all over social media and I mean literally every feed i get online is related to them selling ready to eat chicken in leyton asda. i went there the first day the guy said there isnt any chicken because he is on his own and doesn't have the capacity to make the chicken. i wen the next day and the lady said they only serve this on 'Friday, Saturday and Sunday' the guy than appeared from the back saying 'oh no we do serve this every day but today the oven isn't working' or something to this affect because their English was unbelievably poor. They are obviously being lazy and not cooking the chicken because there is no manager or accountability because they aren't asda employees. just a shop with in a shop. I will never touch their food ever again. No point spending millions on advertisement when your employing people who don't give a toss about your business.

Jun 30,2023I ordered my Sheep Qurbani on 12th June 2023. Eid al-Adha was on 28th June 2023 picked up the Qurbani the next day from the Haji Baba Counter in Asda Milton Keynes Supercentre. Great service will recommend.

May 07,2023I have been buying regularly from Haji Baba for several years. Just earlier today I bought a lamb leg in Asda Ruislip. They asked me to go to the till pay first and then pick up your meat. It was such misery and hassle to go all the way with full trolley and kids, pay and come all the way back to pick up meat during Sunday’s rush, especially with kids. This has put me off, so if this is new policy as told by the staff then it is much easier for families to buy from the local butcher.

Apr 11,2023Not halal meat look it up 401 Is where the animal Slaughtering which is Liffey Meats T/A O'Connor Meats Products 2010 Ltd. which is in Ireland I have contacted the Liffey meats and they have said they DO NOT.do halal meat so we need to be asking why they say it is halal when it’s not

Apr 06,2023I ordered via Uber eats - ordered 2000 grams of chicken wings, got 1700 grams - that’s 300 grams missing from my order. On the same order I ordered 1000grams of meat and got 960 grams, 40 grams missing. Got in touch via phone, talked to the manager and he said he was gonna reply to my email but he ignored the problem. Got in touch with Uber and they don’t seem to even understand how much 1 kilo or 2 kilos is and said ‘this is the size pf their portion’. Total disgrace, the name for it is pure dishonesty. Avoid, avoid, avoid. You don’t want to be involved with these crooks- they are not to be trusted.

Jan 26,2023I want to make everyone aware that this is the 3rd time that low life Haji Baba small heath Asda has sold me off chicken and in the past off mince. Unfortunately this time I was unlucky and caught food poisoning alongside 5 other family members. I have proof and now I have turned to trading standardd for help as lowlife Asda was not willing to help me. Please do not buy your meat from there it is not even good enough for a dog never-mind human! Avoid at all cost!

Jan 30,2025In the past their meat was very fresh and tasty and very good. But from tow years they become real criminals by sell expired meat constantly and they think we customers will not notice this crime? Now meat is epired,and can kill people by cause food toxicity,meat smell like dead body,color of meat is not normal,and the texture is completely bad. And they sell it for expensive price! I am lately keep fall dangerously sick each time i eat their meat,and become very ill:vomiting,diarrhea,headache,fever,and nausea,heart palpitation,just feel like i am dying now! If i survive this time,i promise that i will stop buy from them,and will avoid them as much as i can. Please people be careful,their meat can kill you. I swear i am honest in my review,and that i am sad to see my favourite halal meat become dangerous and bad like this.
