The Reason Your Stuff Are Not Connecting Is Because Hey! Went Bust
Devices have stopped working with Alexa again. Is this the same for anyone else. The Skill on Alexa won’t enable. This happened a few months ago. Can anyone help?
I received an email to inform me the company had ceased trading. This is also reported on their website heyimhome.co.uk
Faulty doorbell cant seem to get through or anything seems as the company has folded and no contact number nice to get an email last night at 630 to actually look on your website cant find no contact number etc not even a year old Lets see if i get reply on here eyy

I’ve been using Hey! Smart lightbulbs for a couple of years now and generally work really work. Sadly, they no longer work with Alexa and the skill cannot be enabled. So, unless this a temporary issue, I’m going to have to replace all of my light bulbs - all 15 of them!!!
So far they've been working brilliant and no problems with them at all
Can't connect as need 2ghz wifi connection which I've tried enabling but it messed up other wifi connections. Pairing mode also not working with Bluetooth. I've got one last thing to try to get it to work and after that will be returning.

My experience was pretty bad. I ordered three products and they only delivered two of them. After 15 days with no communication from them, I tried calling several times but no one picked up. I sent them an email and they told me the smart bulb was sold-out - when I purchased it, on the website didn't say "sold out" or "pre order". They suggested that I spend more money and buy the 2-pack, as the single bulb might take 4-6 weeks. I asked to get the 2-pack for free, taking into account my bad experience... good try. I ended up paying the difference and I was told I'd receive the 2-pack the next day. 15 more days went by without receiving the product, so I contacted them again. Apparently, there was a problem with Royal Mail and it didn't get delivered. Again, it was me who had to contact them, not the other way around. They told me they will handle it and contact me within 3-5 working days. 10 days later, I contacted them again asking for the resolution, and ended up getting a refund for the 2 pack. Terrible experience. I wanted a bulb on Jan 15th, and got my money back on Mar 8th, nearly two months after. They sell themselves as a modern company, but the customer service is just very bad.
My Hey smart video doorbell is consistently going offline. In fact it never is online. Reset it more times than I can remember. Charged batteries countless times, they never last more than a couple of days if your lucky. Purchased wi fi extender, no change. Connection never lasts more than a hour at best. Utter rubbish. Don't waste your money.

What should have been an easy purchased wasn't. order placed on Sunday and told it would be 2 day delivery. However, by Weds nothing had arrived and no confirmation of when it would be delivered had been received. Tried to contact Hey by phone but couldnt get through to anyone. I tried numerous times that day and still just got dropped. I tried X and finally found an email through my shop account and tried there. I also tried one more time and finally got through to someone. I was then told the order would be 2-3 weeks as it was a pre-order. I have had no prior emails from Hey! to say it was a pre-order. The whole ordering experience has been so bad due to lack on comms from Hey! so I have no cancelled the order and have to wait another 3-5 business days to get my money back. Hey! seem to have a flash web site but cannot back it up with the customer service and communications when this go wrong. Overall Poor Service. Avoid
Excellent customer service from Tom sorting initial delivery and connection issues. Smart bulb works perfectly via Hey! App and via Alexa. Very pleased and would purchase from Hey! again.
I've bought a second leak monitor and after my initial experience they work well, i.e. connectivity to WiFi is maintained, they report leaks accurately. Only drawback in remote locations they have to be removed to recharged, a detachable sensor end may be useful to facilitate this. I suppose you could recharge via a USB battery pack though would increase cost if you left it there. Battery life isn't great lasts about a month, I have another model from another manufacturer and this runs of 2 AAA and lasts for over a year.
Every product I have from Hey! Is fantastic. The bulbs are superb and so easy to use. The extensions are top notch and really good for both the office and work! Really pleased with everything!
My camera is a great product, and if you have any problems they are always willing to help

Oct 08,2024Bought a 2nd video doorbell in January 2024. Set up & worked ok until....I got an email in May 2024 saying they were no longer trading but . ...I'd still get updates etc so item would work. Well ...it's now October 2024 & I've had no notifications on my mobile since August at least. I can go into the app & view & answer doorbell but....with no notifications it's useless as I've no idea if anyone is at the door. I have arthritis & take an age to get to the door so this was initially a god send so I could tell people at the door to wait, now it chimes like an old fashioned bell, but drivers have gone before I'm out of my chair plus if I'm out, unless the app is permanently open on my mobile, Im not notified of anything anymore. Useless & worked as it should for barely 8 months. Now having to purchase a different brand video doorbell. Absolutely fuming.
