Just had an email from them 31st July 2020. They have ceased trading and called in administrators. I'm devestated as I was trying to contact them for over a month to find out when the training would be up and running again but nobody answering calls. Paid out over 9 months already. Need to get a refund. Was about to do my practical LGV in March but got pulled off it due to covid 19. Unfortunately bad timing. I'm devestated about this

I havent heard anything from them for months. I was told I would have a phone call or a email regarding when they would be sorting my test out. I've had nothing, everytime I phone the offices are closed. I pay £100 a month, ive payed over £1500 to this company and haven't had anything in return!!

since the lockdown I have had no contact what so ever and it's not for the lack of trying unable to do the training requested call back rang on numerous occasions the company likes to take your money but does not fulfill it's obligation abacus driving school is open so I can not understand why I can not continue my training

I really enjoyed the course. The tutors were really helpful and took there time to explain anything any one was not sure of.

The 1st contact I had with this company was on 6th February 2020 when I've talked with Rita Vaghela. I've lost 45 mins on the phone with her as she was promoting the Manpower story. I thought that she is just involved in providing a good service, even if I was pressed by the time I paid attention to what she was saying. To end the call I've told her that for the moment I'm just doing research as this is my 1st (initial) CPC training. So I left a door open just in case I will contact them later. Knowing that she is involved in providing a good service, although the previous time she kept giving me the information I wasn't actually interested in about Manpower workforce and stuff like that, I rang her again on Friday, 24th April 2020, when again I've listened to the Manpower story. I've lost again 45 minutes with her on the phone, long story, short, I've told her that I want to pay after listening to other lies where she was trying to convince me how good is the company and Manpower and how DVLA is overwhelmed in this period and that's why they are trying to push me in the top of the other DVLA customers, so when this Covid-19 period is over, I will be between the first customers that are completing the training. Well, she prepared me that I need to give her some personal information (I was thinking that she will ask me like common things, full name, date of birth, these kinds of things), instead, she asked me details about my debit card, including the security code from the back of my card (yeap, you've heard me, the 3 digits from the back of the card). I was shocked, I said no way, you can't ask me for something so personal and told her that is like a stranger is asking me to show him the photos on my phone while I'm passing him on the street. She insisted that she can't give me the training documents unless I pay. So, I was like, no I'm not paying this way and asked her if there is a possibility to pay in the same method like on amazon or eBay where you have to create an account and where your personal information about the debit card is secured and pay from your account. She said no, our company doesn't offer this possibility, but we can offer you another way to pay, through bank transfer. Again I said no way because the bank transfer is not a secure payment method and the bank can't trace the money, in case it's a scam. She insisted that is safe, she tried to convince me that I will get a receipt. So I got tired of her lies and refuse everything, in the end, she told me that she will return the call on Monday to check if I changed my mind, while my answer was no thx, it's not necessary, I will contact you in case that I'll change my opinion and after I will check with my bank if it's safe to pay online like this (by giving them the 3 secure digits or by bank transfer). One of her last phrases was that she is very sorry that she can't help me, that she was trying to help me, as they closed at 17:30 and the time is already 17:45 and she only stayed in overtime just for me. That was the best help I could get. Thank God that I didn't bite the bait! DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS ABOUT YOURSELF and BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!

The only thing I would say about the service provided is maybe more interaction with the clients to check how they are progressing and whether they need any additional support or help

Specialized hgv training is an excellent training institute. Everyone is kind and polite and assist you when help is needed . They always in contact with you even when you passed or failed. They’re very supportive and very professional!!!

Very professional company to work with. Came to do my C1 license with them and after a little slip up signing me up for the wrong test, they quickly held their hands up, apologised and got the ball rolling in the right direction. Been a pleasure working with them!

The fact they are a broker is okay with me. They provided decent online training material which helped me to achieve first time passes with Module 1 (MC Theory & HP), and Module 2 (CPC Case Studies). I did not get to choose my driver training school, but it was only a week’s worth of half-days out of my life, so travelling out of Birmingham was a small sacrifice. I passed Module 3 (Driving Test) first time so it was time well spent. I also did not get to choose where my Module 4 (CPC Practical Demonstration) took place. It was even further away than where I took Module 3. Again, only a small sacrifice, spending a few hours wrapping up my Class 2 training. I have read other people’s reviews. I do not know how much it costs to use Specialised’s services because my training was set up through the Job Centre alongside Telford College. If I had to pay for my training, then later found out it cost twice the amount compared to doing all the legwork myself, I would probably have an axe to grind too. In this instance, I am quite happy with how this process has panned out and I am now looking forward to getting out on the road in a new and rewarding driving role in the coming weeks.

I have been doing my course for 10 weeks now and I have had a fantastic experience working with the guy's in the office they have always been so helpful in all aspects of the course and I have recommended the company to several friends and family who are looking into their courses as I write. When I pass I will be sending a cheque for all the office staff just a little early Christmas drink from me. Mr Carl Foran
