Sep 29,2024Sally is a brilliant dog boarder. She welcomed our new dog in the same way she did with our old cocker spaniel. I told her all his spaniel "faults" which she accepted in advance but did not find as bad and her remote control, oven gloves and tea towels remained safe. Not sure about the cushions though

Sep 25,2024It’s always a pleasure to deal with Home from Home as the staff are so friendly and helpful. I’ve been using them for about 5 years now and won’t use anyone else. My two dogs stayed with Natalie and H in Welwyn for the first time as their normal carer wasn’t available, and what a lovely couple they are. You can tell how much they love dogs and have so much experience with them. I got regular updates and I honestly didn’t worry once about them while we were away. I’d highly recommend them to look after your precious doggies.

Sep 19,2024Home from Home responded very quickly to my initial enquiry and found me some lovely folk who looked after my dog as if she were their own (and incidentally who lived very nearby). The guidelines for both carers and clients were clear and comprehensive. I felt reassured that all aspects of my dog’s experience was covered and went off to enjoy a holiday with no worries. When I arrived home it was clear that she was settled and had had a very happy time. I will definitely use Home from Home again.

Sep 18,2024My dog sitters were amazing. They loved my very nutty and busy Welsh Collie. I felt at ease leaving him and they looked after him so well. The company is very professional and checked my bookings if my previous sitters weren’t available they sorted alternative ones

The initial phone call was thorough and showed a real understanding of how individual each dog is and how important it is to the owners to feel that their dog really will feel that they are at a ‘home from home’ . From contacting the agency to meeting our suggested boarder happened very quickly and it was lovely to know that I could now really look forward to my holiday knowing that Willow would be well looked after in a home that had been selected for her. Our boarder and family were amazing - a very attentive first visit and then just the right amount of communication while I was away. I must admit that my children were starting to worry that Willow wouldn’t want to come home, the amount of fun and love she was getting were evident. I would now definitely use Home from Home again and would hope to get the same boarder, but I am also confident that the thorough matching process would produce the same reassuring results if our initial boarder wasn’t available .

Sep 09,2024What can we say, this is the first time our dog stayed with Karen and Steve. They are both genuinely such caring and wonderful people and made our little boy feel so welcomed and loved. We would have no hesitation in leaving him with them again and would highly recommend them. They are an asset to home from home boarding

Sep 06,2024My usual boarder was not available, Home from Home gave me details of someone else who seemed to match my requirements. My Whippet Skye was looked after by Karen and her husband, he was unwell while he was there and Karen even cooked him chicken and rice for his dinner, absolutely went above and beyond in looking after him. He was so relaxed in her home when I went to collect him, will definitely use them again. x

Sep 30,2024I was really nervous to leave my dog, as I hadn't ever left him with anyone before, but our sitter was fantastic! She made sure to keep me updated and he had a great time with them. He was so much more chilled out then I was expecting. Can't thank them enough.
