Jul 11,2022We are so relieved to have found Terri through our Home from Home booking! We rehomed Frank at the very start of lockdown. He was around 10 weeks old when we took him in (his litter was abandoned at the side of a road). Ever since, he has been wary or reluctant to walk near roads. Unfortunately, Frank was also diagnosed with early onset of elbow dysplasia just after his 1st birthday & he had to be operated on. We’re very conscious of Frank’s legs but Terri understood our concerns and reassured us that she would keep a watchful eye over Frank during his time with her. This was our first holiday without Frank & we really didn’t want to place him in kennels. Home from Home was a perfect solution for us; they assessed our needs and as they only care for one dog at a time, we thought this would be more suitable for Frank (to stop the strain on his leg from getting excited around other dogs all week). Terri is a lovely person & Frank clearly enjoyed his holiday with her and her family. They went over and above to make sure Frank was able to go out for walks when he got scared of the roads (carrying him to the park!). Terri sent photos and kept in touch throughout the week to give us updates. We would not hesitate to book through Home from Home again & hope Terri is available the next time we decide to book a holiday!
