The team were extremely helpful, friendly, well organised and accommodating. Really happy with my new car, the lifetime MOTs are an amazing additional bonus!

Danny was a delight to deal with from start to finish. No hard sell, just good honest information and opinions to help me make my choice. The garage also went the extra mile in terms of car prep pre pickup. It was a pleasure to deal with Danny.

I received brilliant service from start to finish. I found it easy to organise a test drive for the car. There were some scratches on the bumper, Danny kindly arranged to have the bumper changed. I collected the car the following week. I love my new car and would recommend Horsepower.

Had the car for about a week and now had too call RAC out due to an engine management issue. Not the greatest thing for a review. The guys when come to selling the car were friendly enough but did not seem to have to much knowledge about the car as little service history. Saying you will always get a few faults buying a second-hand car which I get. But maybe a few more checks should be given to those vehicles taken in part exchange before selling them on.

We recently bought a car from here and I’m afraid to say they absolutely lived up to the stereotype of a dodgy dealer. The car failed to turn on 4 weeks after purchase (we believe a battery fault) and when I contacted the salesman to discuss them taking a look at it I was told they were no longer responsible for the car as the battery was fine when they sold it. I fail to believe driving a mere 100 miles in 4 weeks is enough to turn a fully working battery to one that needs immediate replacement. Really disappointed with the service and will be warning others to avoid this dealership at all costs.

I was nervous of buying a car, but Alex put me at ease and helped me make the best choice for my family and my budget. Horsepower is a genuine, family run company and I will use their services and buy from them in the future.

Sold me a car without a jack. I rang to let them know,they said they would get back to me within 24 hours 4 weeks later I still haven’t heard from them Very unprofessional

I’d highly recommend Horsepower, their customer service is amazing. The guys that work there are super lovely and very knowledgeable! My family and I would never buy cars anywhere else - Horsepower are amazing. My parents both own cars which were brought from here and we’ve never had any trouble with any of them. 100% trustworthy! I brought my first car (since passing my test) a couple of weeks ago and I am completely obsessed with my new baby. I’m over the moon at the whole process, Tommy made it easy and enjoyable for us from the beginning. The car itself is pretty much showroom quality with low mileage and drives like an absolute beauty. Thank you guys for making it such a pleasurable experience! We will definitely be back (not too soon as I’m in love with my SLK)!

Everybody was eager to help, my car seems to be running well, and I am happy with it so far. My only criticism is that the car wasn't ready when I came to pick it up, also the scratches on it weren't t cutter out as promised, and a few other things had to be done while we waited. I think the staff were very stretched at that particular time, and did their very best to help. As long as the car continues to run well I am happy with the service and transaction.

Actually I bought the car for my wife and she is yet to start using it as she is presently preparing for her driving test and its after getting the licence before she can drive. That was why I can not do any appraisal now about the car.

Having purchased a car from Horsepower on the 19th July I was informed that the previous owner had mislaid the V5, so I was not able to change ownership at the DVLA. I was assured that this was coming, however, and it would be sent on to me. After numerous calls to Horsepower, where they never called me back, I then realise the car was no longer taxed. I also found out that there had been NO application for a replacement V5 since 2022 or a recent change of ownership application. I am now left with a car on my drive that I am not able to drive. The DVLA have suggested that I immediately SORN the car and then apply for a new V5. This will take up to 4 weeks and will cost me £25 and countless taxi's. I would rather they took the damn car away and gave me my money back as I really do not want to ever deal with Horsepower ever again. I just cannot trust them. I love the car, to be fair, but having only spent £2,500 I am obviously NOT a very important customer. The attitude of the garage was very disappointing and very surprising, as I was led to believe that they valued their their customers....just not in my case obviously. They simply do not care at all. I quote directly from their email: 'we are not able to assist any further' and 'this situation is outside of our control and cannot do anything further'. How about at least offering to pay the £25 for the V5. Or even a contribution towards my now lack of a legally drivable car! Please note that I emailed Horsepower and actually gave them 24 hours to at east try and help me before I added a review to Google, Trustpilot, Car Gurus & Auto Trader. I would have been content with a 'sorry' and £25 to cover my costs. They were not prepared to help in any way. Really great Customer Service! You have been warned. Jacob Woodd
