Jan 28,2022Very very pleased, Peter Carroll was a star, easy transaction from start to finish (distance purchase) I only had one issue, and that was the wing mirror switch wasn't checked, and was broken which I had to pay for. Apart from that LOVIN THE MINI.

Jan 21,2022My first experience with horsepower for a car service was in December 2021.from the first phone call, first meeting and then car service, I am extremely impressed! Communication was fantastic! Car and my self were professionally treated, car drove, and looked like new when work was finished. All staff are brilliant! I had my mot done today. Fantastic service again! Prices are lower than main dealer, time taken is faster than main dealer. I definitely recommend horsepower to everyone.the customer and vehicle are definitely a priority. I will use them always. Very impressed!

Jan 21,2022We've got a Mercedes Benz M class from them. Danny was who took care of us. He was lovely, answered us all questions and was available on the phone and text messages every time we needed. Documents stage went very smoothly and quick. We saw the car before the 104 points check and after this the car looks and drives perfect. I am giving 4 stars only because a little thing that actually in not realy little. When we left the centre with the car, we had a stop at the gas station and we struggled there 30 mins to open the flap door of the gas tank thinking is our fault cus we don't know how to do it but actually is something wrong with a little spring that they did not check and fix. Overall we are happy with the purcase and the way we've been treated there. Danny is lovely.

Jan 14,2022brought the car from this garage a year ago and it was serviced and mot'd by them before i bought it. A year later return for an MOT and it fails because headlight washers dont work (they never have), when I get another garage to look into it (Horsepower were 'understaffed to help') it turns out that there was a previous bodge with a bolt rammed into the end of the hose meaning the headlight washers would never work. So the previous years service and MOT obviously missed this. Funny how this is missed when the car is sold and not Horsepower's problem!?!? (Wonders of the bodge was done by Horsepower, or whether they were too incompetent to note the failure during the MOT? They certainly went very quiet when I tried to raise the issue directly with them saying they were understaffed). Update Aug 2024. Horsepower have finally decided to respond to my original post. This is 2 and a half years late! Perhaps the DVLA should review their MOT station... I wonder how many cars they put a fresh MOT on actually have issues they have 'missed'.....

Jan 11,2022Have been using Horsepower for several years now for MOTs and although I do most of my own servicing I usually have an interim service to take advantage of collect and deliver service,and lower price MOT. Never had any cause for complaint and by letting them do the odd service I can do more important things like working on my motorcycles!!! Top garage,well run and efficient.

Jan 04,2022* Great genuine low mileage car at a competitive price. * Well presented, had been serviced and had an MOT * Was able to take for a decent test drive. * Salesman was straight forward and easy to deal with. * They fulfilled all promises after the sale like a replacement part. Only negatives are: * a £300 deposit was taken despite the autotrader ad saying they take £100 for deposit. * I part exchanged and was offered £400 less than webuyanycar.com (I had an in-person inspection done at one of their kiosks) rather than the £500 more as advertised. So do your own research if you are part exchanging...

Dec 19,2021I recently purchased my new car from Danny, and the service was fantastic. After talking on the phone with Danny he told me all about the car, and the dealership, and put me at ease, living 200 miles from the dealership I didn't want to make the long trip to be disappointed as I have been in the past with other dealers. I agreed to buy the car over the phone and Danny led me through the process brilliantly, I paid a £300 deposit over the phone and Danny said I can pay the balance on the day of collection once I've seen the car for peace of mind, and if the car wasn't as promised then I would get my deposit back. I arrived on the day of collection to a warm smile from Danny, he showed me the car and it was exactly as it had looked in the photos, and as Danny promised the car had been 104 point inspected, serviced and given a fresh mot with no advisories by their master technicians. I have to say that I would not hesitate to buy another car over the phone from Danny, and Horsepower, a great garage with great, knowledgeable and personal staff, and I will now be sending all my friends and family down there when they next need a car, 5 stars all round
