Delivered on time and everything checked out ok. Query on glass supports answered very quickly. Very professional, excellent service, would recommend House of Windows.

Sep 14,2020Ordered 10 windows for our home. The quote was super competitive and ordering was straightforward. We wanted cream windows and were happy to pay the premium price. The windows were ready on time (I’d chosen to collect as I didn’t want to wait for delivery). Two staff members helped me load the windows and glass in to my van - advising on the best way to pack them. So far 4 of the 10 windows are fitted and they look brilliant. We couldn’t be happier. The windows have been easy to fit and are really nice quality. All of the optional extras are included (toughened glass/shoot bolt upgrades), and the window frames were well protected with plastic corners and cling wrap. Many thanks - really impressed with the price and the quality.

Aug 21,2020Ordered online a UPVC window for a bedroom, it arrived as advised, it did take a few weeks due to covid situation, but good quality, looks great, fitted it myself easy to do for an experienced DIY person, ordered a fixing pack which came with self tapping concrete/brick screws and flat packers for the frame, a little disappointed that it did not come with the Linlar glazing packers which clip in place to get your glass unit central as advised in the pdf instructions. Overall very pleased not a bad price, fairly straight forward to order online, saved me money over supply and install companies, I will use again.

Aug 05,2020Tired of patching up my old wooden garage window I decided to take the plunge and have a go at replacing it with a modern plastic window. I read a number of reviews on the Internet and decided on House of Windows as having a very good reputation and sensibly priced. The design and ordering process was straight forward. I was contacted the next day to finalise the payment and was informed of the potential 3-5 week delivery due to Covid. I was quite happy to accept this and placed the order. The Window was duly delivered in three weeks. Following the instructions from the PDF provided in the technical information I fitted the window, although I needed to make some adjustments to the surrounding brickwork, due to previous poor workmanship when the garage was built. I had included the fitting kit when the window was purchased, which was very sensible as it contained the correct sized screws and a range of spacers. Once the frame was fitted, which was easy, I came to fit the glass. Unfortunately, there were insufficient spacers left to fit the glazing securely. I also noticed that the PDF for fitting mentioned the use of Liniar Glazing platforms, which clip nicely into the frame. I contacted House of Windows, who sent me a set at no cost in the post within a few days. This made fitting of the glass very easy. All done and the Window looks great. When I spoke to House of Windows about the Liniar glazing platforms, I wondered why they were not provided as standard. The answer is that it would make the cost of the windows uncompetitive. For people like me, who is no expert at this, they were really useful as they clip in and stay in place. If the company had offered them as an optional extra, then I would certainly have purchased them, especially as they are not available for purchase on the Internet. Summing up, a great experience and would certainly use them again in the future or recommend to friends.
