Huddle is very easy to use, and I have not had any difficulties in doing so!
Really disappointed with HUDDLE. What seemed like a good set up has proved to be disappointing. My daughter had no.option but to pay monthly at a set cost for her electricity in Manchester. Her monthly payment was so large and her actual usage so low that it was clear she would receive a rebate at the end of her tenancy agreement. This ended on 27th July. She received her rebate on 18th October but only after having to chase it by phoning HUDDLE several times. We were disappointed that the rebate of @ £1000 took so long to be paid back but also that it had to be chased down on several occasions. This company could be much better at rebates.
At our student house we were signed with Huddle before we moved in, unbeknown to us. Prior to actually moving in, we actually signed up with UniHomes. Despite this Huddle sent us a Bill for the first 5 days of our occupation even though we weren't even with them. All it based on Estimates. Now on a weekly basis myself and all of my housemates are getting threatening texts saying that Huddle are taking us to Court over an unpaid balance of £20. We have called Huddle several times and no action has been taken. It's outrageous.
PLEASE DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR HUDDLE. 1 star is generous. We're a group of students who moved out in July. We paid the exact amount they asked us to each month... yet 3 months after we've moved out they keep emailing us saying we owe them hundreds of pounds despite them telling us we were way under our energy usage and were due a refund. Sadly, because we have no proof of them saying this as all conversations were over the phone, they now think they can charge us more than we owe them. PLEASE if you use Huddle, get everything they say in writing as they have a habit of claiming they've never said things. Overall, they have a very disorganised way of getting customers to pay their bills and 9 times out of 10 will say you owe them money even if you don't. Sad as we're all broke uni students who feel we've been taken the p out of lol. PLEASE DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR HUDDLE. Ignore any good reviews because ngl all I've heard is bad things about them so I'm not sure who they're paying to write good reviews for them. Probs using our money to pay for them. xxx p.s. a message to Huddle - if you reply to this with your excuses, we don't want to hear it. We aren't the only ones who have left a very similar review.

Rip off company, stupidly expensive standing charge (about 5 times the average) plus high charge rate per KWh. Crazy amounts of money for energy when it is already so expensive. Don't use them unless you like giving money away for nothing.
This company is a rip off. Me and my flat mate paid £100 each a month for a 2 bed flat. Me and my flat mate were hardly at the property and barely used electricity yet somehow we are getting chased for £200 extra as we have apparently ‘gone over the limit’. We have asked for a meter reading and this hasn’t been provided. Do not use huddle if you don’t want to be taken advantage of. We had been recommended to huddle by our student accommodation so I am guessing they have a an arrangement together which is basically scamming students. Do not use them.
Dealt with Bryan over 2 days, he phoned me back and was happy to spend 2-3 hours on the phone to me regarding about 50 accounts. Unreal service in a sector that never provides it. Felt it deserved a big shout out.

OK I've just joint today due to start supply on the first of October. After reading all the reviews I was a bit sceptical about the unlimited package wich provided unlimited usage of energy. Many other sites saying it's to good to be true with hidden charges and higher prices but after a comparison of what I pay now for an extra £45 it's made sense to switch to this company avoiding the price rise on October. After a few emails to check If it's really unlimited I've been told that is got a limit but it's never been an issue to date with other customers. So I thought I'll give it a go and after a pleasant call I've signed up for the unlimited package for £297 electric gas water. Compared to 250£ on previous company. So now wait and see...

Students- do not use Huddle! They are rip off merchants! Go directly to the energy company, it is way cheaper. My daughters bill for a student house for 4 was £8000 for 12 months. The same bill with EDF was £1800 - now they are chasing for an extra 200 quid for the last month of the tenancy when the house was empty. These people are crooks and shameless for ripping off poor students!
We shouldn't have to pay upfront fee
Got recommended this route by our estate agents who admittedly said it was going to be easier than to sort out bills individually but my god did these people rip us off. For a 4 bed uni house they are taking 120 pounds off us every month EACH whereas everyone i know is getting charged no more than 50 pounds. We haven’t been at our property over summer and yet somehow we’ve gone over allocation even though we haven’t used a single bit. Customer service is a bit meh but would never use this company again.
Huddle are very fortunate to have such a conscientious person on their team as Karl! He has helped me with several issues over the last couple of years and always been so supportive, patient and professional! He is a complete asset to Huddle! Many thanks.
Consistent communication and sign up process was very clear. Have found another source to be slightly cheaper, however, difference isn't enough to favour them.

Nov 01,2024The customer service staff (James in particular) are fab, the price is reasonable for the unlimited plan, and changing over at the end of a tenancy was very simple! They have also been understanding with some difficulties we have had with our landlord giving us some info about the meters. Only lost a star for some difficulty my friend has had with changing to her replacement tenant.
