Sep 29,2023Training was absolutely amazing by the instructor and brother Mohammed Shoaib. Training was very well scheduled and catered for my needs. Shoaib was very patient and very clear and concise with his directions and pointers. I felt very comfortable with driving alongside him. He would tell me exactly where to look and exactly how to turn and how much to turn. Shoaib was very experienced in his role as he has over 10 years experience in driving busses and lorrys, he also has many more years of experience driving cars, vans and towing trailers, towing on A frames etc. Shoaib would know exactly where my trailer wheels sit and even without looking in the mirrors too much. The training was intense but very enjoyable and an absolute pleasure to undergo with Shoaib. I would definitly reccommend Shoaib as an instructor as i passed my reverse test and forward driving on my first attempt with only 2 minors! What a pleaseure training with ny brother

Sep 29,2023I have just passed my PCV training after 2 days intensive training with Steve Martin. I contacted J Coates after unfortunately failing 2 previous PCV tests with a bus company. I had lost my confidence but with the support and guidance from Steve my confidence grew and I passed my test with no faults. Steve was a great instructor, he was patient and professional and explained everything in detail, I also enjoyed driving a coach, as opposed to a bus. I found the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish, thank you for helping me achieve my goal, what a great supportive professional company.

Joe made me feel comfortable and relaxed from day one of my training. I would recommend joe 100% to anyone looking for the best training to achieve there goal.

Sep 15,2023Took a week training course with shoaib mohammed great trainer verry detailed and thurough with his explanatins. I had some training prior with another company and was not happywith the trainer qs he did not teach me even half of what i learnt with shoaib.. I came to j coates and had mr mohammed. What can i say. Very friendly. Does not shout or swear like the other one i had before. Highly recomend shoaib mohammed as a trainer. He is one of the best. Thanks to shoaib for walking me towards a pass in the coach first time test

Sep 13,2023Had a really good experience at J Coates, training for my C+E at St Albans. My instructor Lewis was great, had 20 years of experience, he pulled me up on all the bad habits I had developed, and was also a good laugh too. Really enjoyed the training. I did mess up my first test by making a totally avoidable mistake, but got another test in 5 days at a reasonable price and luckily passed!

Sep 08,2023Thanks Simon for training me with a result of a first time pass in category C + E. Three days of driving and explaining the possible test routes around Leicester were positively driven with the excellent guide of Simon resulting in a great understanding of what's expected and the standard the test examiner will be looking for. A thank you also goes to Joe for his training on the reversing and uncoupling, recoupling exercise. Great all round experience thanks to the J Coates team.

Sep 08,2023All round brilliant. Did first part of my class 1 down in Melton Mowbray, patient & understanding, took time to go through every step of reversing and Un-coupling. Then just completed 4 day course with rob out of nottingham, really good and thorough talking you through the vehicle and where you need to be positioned on the road. If your unsure on something just ask him and he will do it with you time and time again until you feel comfortable, no expense spared he will get you ready the best you can be for the test. I Passed class 1 first time today 3 minors even with the tight uneven roads of nottingham. Carnt speak highly enough of rob & the rest.

Sep 07,2023A big thankyou to the team at J Coates Leicester Depot for getting me a first time Pass C + E. Instructor Joe for the Module 3 A test and Simon for his 3 days of sorting out my 40 + years of incorrect driving habits and his brilliant knowledge of the Leicester roads on test routes. Leicester DVSA Examiner was also brilliant at explaining all required before and during test. Leicester DVSA is a great test centre to start, mid and finish test and even with heavy rush hour traffic was able to keep moving for the 1 hr test period.

Sep 07,2023Shoaib mohammed was my trainer for my mod 4 today. Sohaib gave me plenty of advice and wisdom in order to pass, he also took me through a mock test and ran me through any questions I was unsure of and corrected me. Thanks to Sohaib I passed with flying colours

Sep 06,2023I passed my Class 1 test last week and had Lewis as my instructor. He was great at explaining the process and made me feel very relaxed when driving and when it came to my test as he really knows his stuff. We had a lot in common as are similar ages and got on really well, I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to do their class 1. David Wiles
