The application to set up the account was easy, compared to two previous applications I had made
Attracted by the high interest rate, yesterday I opened an account and transferred my money. This was straightforward. The next day, the money had not appeared in the account, so I phoned JN Bank. The number was engaged a few times. Then I connected and got through within five minutes to a pleasant person who explained that the money might not appear until the following day. I also emailed the bank and received a reply within six hours, saying that the money had been received and it can take two working days to be visible on the website. So they seem helpful and I am 95% confident my money hasn't gone astray. But it would be better if they stated how long it takes for the money to appear and even better if it credited instantly, which is technically possible these days. PS: The money showed in my account the next day.
Very straigtforward
Tried to open an account over 10days, still not success without response.. since i have to upload document before account open without online login in set. Looking for customer service if am able to send through email or any secure way, no response of my mail which sent. My mail has been sent to customer service at 22-Nov, 23-Nov, 28-Nov and 29-Nov awaiting response..
Unable to contact bank and ignores email ans call back service. Avoid at all costs

I am now over a week in trying to set up a savings account, which in my experience is unprecedented with any other bank or building society. It does not bode well and I will be depositing my savings elsewhere as a result having read similar negative reviews...sorry JN Bank, you had your chance.

We had the same issue as a number of others have. We sent across our opening deposit for my wife's account, but nothing was showing in the account. We e-mailed the customer service team who eventually responded saying that their systems had been updated and there was a delay on my money showing in the account. It is now showing (thank god!), but if i'm honest it has spooked us & we won't be sending any further funds across to JN Bank.
Must be a busy time. Very difficult to get in to open an account. Ambiguous questions led to odd log in details.
Very straightforward process to open the account
Have opened an account phoned during the limited support times have never spoken to anyone yet. Have listened to a lot of music and been told the wait time is about 2 minutes after 2 minutes the wait time is now 2 minutes and so it goes on. Now off to try another bank.
Set up was very straightforward forward as was depositing my cash into a fixed savings account. What is now alarming is that I cannot access my account, and the forgotten password link does not work. Phone support - called at 2 pm and was told a two-minute wait time.... and still waiting and waiting... and waiting. Still waiting I am now asking for my money to be returned within 14 days. ( if someone answers)
Easy process to invest. Good rate of interest.
Just invested £85000. Cannot log in to check account,they don't answer the phone even though 'your call is very important'.Don't answer e-mails.Website non functional after 'maintenance',just in a permanent loop of user name and password.Avoid like the plague. UPDATE-23.11.2023 Still waiting for JN Bank to contact me. Non functioning access and support. An insult. Further to my previous,I can now confirm that JN have been in touch and the access issue has been resolved.Thank you,JN Bank.I am now a happy customer.😃
I'll give JN Bank 2 stars for having a free phone number to call - that's about the best thing I can say about them. Tried to open a second fixed term bond on line. My application had to be reviewed even though the first bond was taken out just a few weeks earlier so all details remained the same. By the time JN Bank got back to me the rate had fallen from 5.9% to 5.5% and the account opened at the lower rate (now there's a surprise). Tried to contact them by phone to query this but after 1 hour and 3 minutes on hold gave up. Tried again later - on hold for more than 1 hour again but finally spoke to an advisor who confirmed that the rate to be applied would be 5.5% and not 5.9% as at the point of application. Needless to say I'll not be funding this account or any other with JN Bank in future.
Opened savings account. transferred £1 to confirm account details before sending bigger sum. 3 days later no sign of money arriving.Email sent: need to wait 2 days for reply. 26 minutes waiting on phone. Poor customer service I would advise you to avoid
software but fell over a few times. But process easy to follow.
Rather disappointingly, I am in a telephone queue that I have been in for over an hour now! I transferred £25k 2 days ago and although my bank says it went through ok, there is no trace of the payment in my JN Bank account. This is obviously worrying for me so the least I expect to be able to do is talk to someone on the phone. Not a great start. I can only hope it is easily rectified when/if I do reach someone at JN Bank.
