My neighbors and I initially signed a contract with Jones Robinson for our property management, believing we were in good hands with a reputable, local company. We specifically chose them because they assured us that we could continue paying our fees monthly, as we had always done. Their office was conveniently located nearby, allowing us to address any issues in person if needed. However, without our knowledge or consent, we were suddenly transferred to the dreadful, unprofessional company 'First Port,' which has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite our prior agreement with Jones Robinson, we’ve had to fight tirelessly just to maintain our monthly payment arrangement. To add insult to injury, we are now being charged additional fees for this 'privilege'—something we never agreed to and would have outright rejected had we known. The customer service from First Port is appalling and their claims have been untrue and we have faced consistent inaccurate bills. We’ve been treated with disrespect, faced constant threats, and received no understanding or support. It’s baffling that Jones Robinson would abandon us to such a company. Even after following Jones Robinson’s complaints procedure, we have received no compensation or relief from the extra fees we now have to bear. I once had great respect for Jones Robinson, but after this experience I will avoid them at all costs and urge others to do the same. I even advised my mum not to use their services when selling her home. Thanks for nothing, Jones Robinson.
The seller we bought our house from used them. They could not have done more for both sides. Great service all around and a special mention to Natalie who originally showed us the property, she is a real credit to the company.
I have just sold my property through Jones Robinson, Newbury. Tayler Reynders handled my sale. She is an extremely proactive and determined lady. She kept me well informed about potential buyers and offers. In addition, the viewings team also did an extremely good job in keeping me up-to-date in a very timely manner. Under Elle's management, I have noticed a significant improvement in the way issues are addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Her dedication to ensuring that all parties involved - including tenants and property owners like myself - are satisfied is evident in her proactive approach and willingness to listen to concerns. Elle's management style is professional, organized, and transparent, which has restored my confidence in the property management process. Jones Robinson in Devizes was an excellent estate agency office to work with when we sold a flat in the area. Andrew Francis and Mikyle Andrews were very professional and incredibly helpful moving the process forward which was complicated by incorporating a lease extension on the flat. As sellers based overseas, I would highly recommend this office as they communications were always timely and they managed the time change challenges seamlessly.

Having accepted a cash offer for our flat in Liverpool because we are relocating and not being in a chain we were confident to make an offer for one being marketed by Jones Robinson in Newbury. Transfer progress was regularly and well monitored by Paula Rudge but unfortunately the ‘system’ allows unscrupulous, and even dishonest, behaviour because there is no commitment until exchange of contracts, which resulted in the sale of our flat sadly having to be aborted after 6 months. Paula was most sympathetic and continues to maintain regular contact with us while our offer remains on the table pending us getting another buyer.
