In my experience high high on lack of detail super high on arrogance. If you you want to be told off about a one sided no balance reference speak with Vanessa. Wow rarely have I met this lack of empathy or the ability to listen

Where to start....ok.... So I was interested in buying a property they had recently listed that came with planning permission to convert from a coachhouse into what could have been a very nice family home for us. When I first contacted them the lady I spoke to didn't seem to know much about the property but claimed there had been 2 viewings with one about to make an offer. The advert said there was planning permission for a double garage but I couldn't find it with the council and when I told her this she said she didn't know and would find out from the seller. I arranged a viewing to go see the property and was told I'd be shown round by another lady called Caroline who actually knew the details about the property. I finally after much trying got hold of her to ask for some more details, she was very abrupt/arrogant on the phone and clearly wanted to get rid of me as quick as possible, I asked a few things about the property to which she said send your offer and questions / conditions in an email which I did. She insisted once the work was done the house would be worth £1.1m but having looked at other property that had sold for that kind of value in the area which were larger/nicer I said is that realistic surely it would be at most £900k to which I got "well you're entitled to your own opinion" which I thought was a bit rude! I asked her about the garage planning permission and said the sellers were drawing up the plans and hadn't applied for the permission yet!!! Anyway so few days later we went to take a look and instead was met by a different lady as apparently Caroline couldn't make it because she had a migraine. This lady was different from the one we first spoke to on the phone but she knew absolutely nothing about the property other than it had 5 viewings with one potential offer. She gave me a pack showing the land boundary as being several acres even though the detail said 1.4 acres. The site was in the process of having old buildings demolished and fences which belonged to the property were being removed and used on the neighbouring property also owned by the seller. It wasn't clear what state the property/plot was going to be left in if I was to actually buy it. The next day I contacted them as we noticed the property had a septic tank and this hadn't been mentioned before, I asked what size it was and where the soakaway was and its size to which Caroline said he didn't know but she would find out. There was also a discrepancy over the land boundary as the seller wanted to reduce the title from its current 7 acres to 1.4 acres but even though I had asked a few times for what the new boundary would be on a drawing/plan I never received anything. Anyway the next day I got an email through saying this property was being treated as a "virtual auction" due to the vast interest and to make a best and final offer by end of the week. Caroline then called me and said sorry that email came to me before we had a chance to speak and oh btw you the septic tank is too small and will need to be replaced. I was still not provided with any of the information I asked for and was being forced to make a best and final offer without knowing the full details of the property or where the actual land boundary would even be. Anyway I dropped my offer due to the septic tank issue and then was told on Friday that I had been outbid. Personally I found the whole experience with this estate agent frustrating and poor all because I didn't agree with their current and post completion evaluation, they provided me with very little information and it seemed they had already had a "favourite buyer" and wasn't fussed about anyone else interested in the property who had valid questions/concerns.

Upon letting out the house and providing JonesRobinson 3x sets of keys they then proceeded to provide the gas engineer all 3x sets! The gas engineer subsequently locked all of the keys in the house ending up costing myself money and after JonesRobinson contacted my mother without consent caused a family feud owing to not only rudely and demanding she run down another set of key but also putting pressure on her to provide them as soon as possible. We then had a late payment that was agreed must be paid before a certain date, no communication was made to notify me that this payment would actually be later than this agreed date and I again subsequently had to fork out of my own pocket in overdraft fines and spend time sorting other payments. If this had simply been communicated then other money could have been transferred to cover accordingly. In attempting to make a complaint the service provided was just disgusting to the point I ended up losing my temper due to constantly being talked over by a JonesRobinson employee almost making it feel as if it was my fault. We have then had sink issues that when you request feedback on simply end up with no answer. The oven, again no feedback, ultimately I did persist with this and several email and around a month later received feedback. This all amongst other issues and with the absolute mess of JonesRobinson not knowing if the conservatory had been paid for, myself having to state that I in fact hadn't paid for it yet and then having to request both payment details and invoice from JonesRobinson TO PAY THEM, utter joke!. Owing to the fact I was then abroad working I was unable to pay immediately owing to JonesRobinson causing the initial delay to which I was then threatened with further costs when I had committed to payment the whole time (albeit come up against a few issues with foreign transfer and the working abroad) I was held to ransom by JonesRobinson with them not releasing my tenants rent, again not communicating, costing me yet again. There is simply a one way attitude at JonesRobinson in that the home owner should bear the cost, time and time again costs were requested when simple fixes were possible or the tenants were at fault. One example is the property apparently required a new fridge, upon requesting what the problem was I was told the fridge was leaking, I then had the tenants defrost the fridge and owing to changes in the weather temperature the overflow pipe had frozen, this is simply common sense and very basic living yet the onus is put upon the landlord to fix. Another example was the previously mentioned oven that was I was notified as not get hot enough with the door open? Send out a engineer = nothing wrong, oven works perfectly fine! After all this the tenants that were sourced by Jones Robinson decided to become squatters causing more financial pain for myself. Jones Robinson decided upon themselves to stop the legal process to evict them with no communication of this to myself owing to a house being found by the council, this was simply verbally from the tenants with no concrete evidence to back it up. JonesRobinson were not able to obtain a direct contact to the housing association sourcing a home for the tenants, making up several statements or using the verbal garbage from the tenants, I took this upon myself to obtain a direct contact with the housing association that took under half an hour to do so and had I have had the correct level of authority as JonesRoinson had then they would have shared the information I was seeking. One plus was I threatened to leave to which JonesRobinson did allow me a years free management fees, however all in all it really would have been better to have left. Communication is rude, poor, attitude problems persist with several staff members. Really bad experience of a first lettings experience.NEVER AGAIN with JonesRobinson!

Very bad landlord experience. I would like to single out Warren for employee of the month for ignoring our emails until a commission was spotted and then he wouldn't leave us alone, this isn’t someone I want to do business with. I understand that a 'light touch' tenancy agreement means that over a nine year period Jones Robinson do absolutely nothing, they do not contact the tenant that they introduced nor do they carry out courtesy visits to ensure the property had not fallen into disrepair. The only reason the tenant stayed for nine years was due to the goodwill we created and work we carried out to ensure they stayed, which eventually cost us a very large 1.5% 'introduction fee' which was non-negotiable even though Jones Robinson had already received an even larger amount in admin fees for doing zero, nothing, nada. Jones Robinson charged us twice for roll over contracts and we had to ask for the money to be refunded, on another occasion the company failed to send the total rental monies and we had to ask for it. Landlords, I can only recommend that you check all the wording in the agreement (especially the small print) and do not roll over the tenancy agreement but start again. I would not recommend your business to anyone.

Unethical!! You cannot trust their words, make sure that you have everything agreed in writing from them. I'm tenant and was served 3 months notice to vacate and at the same time they told me that I can counter serve 1 month notice if I find something early. I found something and served them 1 month notice, called them and they agreed on handover date. In good faith I went ahead and paid my deposit and rent for next home. Now 10 days later they come back and say I cannot vacate and I must serve two months. That means I have to pay rent for two homes in todays difficult situation. My fault - I trusted their words in good faith. I don't have it in writing and hence can't do much.

When I recently enquired about selling my property. I asked if the whopping sales fee was negotiable. I requested the senior sales agent to call me. A time was arranged but no call received. This is the second time I have called. Jones Robinson Newbury claim to be professional and eager to help but if the basics of not returning a call can not be made. How professional are they? I have now instructed another agent.

Clare is the brightest star in the Jones Robinson galaxy. I have been in the hospitality industry for more than 25 years and am very happy to get a service like I got by Clare. I just came to UK, but I didn't expected that great level of customer care from Clare. Big thanks to you Clare 👏👏👏👏Bravo.

Great service from Jones Robinson for my recent purchase. Deborah Harris dealt with every enquiry I had, and pitched in with chasing a VERY SLOW and uncommunicative solicitor. No complaints, would highly recommend. Thanks!

Stay away from JONES ROBINSON! I wish to not give even one star! Full of liars. Strongly not recommend this Estate agent! Stay away from them! Purchased the property in Thatcham and waiting 6 months, vendor extent the sales forever and after that received the phone call that the vendor not sell the property any more. Probably go different buyer! I lost the oportunity to purchase the property because price increase dramatically. Jones Robinson don't care about buyers. The stress I go through with 6 months worth nothing. I wish to not touch them ever. This is the second situation with Jones Robinson that they let me down. Before I found the property in Newbury and make the offer. Then received the phone calls that the vendors change their mind Please stay away from them! I wish the vendors and Estate Agents someone treat them exactly the same! "Karma always back" Feel sick when I think about this estate agent! The stress i go through caused to me the illness and depression because of them. They was ringing me everyday and pushing me to find out if my mortgage offer will be extended, they said otherwise the property will back to market again, jones robinson was giving me lots of pressure. I couldn't push the lender to make the decision right now. When I manage to extend the mortgage offer for another 2 month I received the phone call from Jones Robinson that vendors pull out from sales. After I was waiting 6 months. From october 2021 till the end of the April 2022 Vendors didnt expected that my offer will be extended. After I manage to extend that he was surprised and find other way to pull out from sales saying illness reason. I was waiting 6 months and no illness, and then illness in one day! LIARS! PLEASE DO NOT EVER BUY FROM THEM ANY PROPERTY! DONT RISK!

Excellent service received from Jones Robinson. Deborah Harris was our main contact and was always available, professional and quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. When first viewing our purchased property it was great to see that the photos taken for advertising were not exaggerated in any way and gave a true perspective of the properties size & condition, so no nasty surprises when we first viewed. Overall very happy with the service received especially in these current times

A big thank you to Claire Black for helping me and my partner to find a perfect place for us in less than one day! Would definitely recommend everyone to use this company before trying others because any problems they help sort things easily and this is from someone severely epileptic who has a bad memory but I understood everything through the whole process thanks to Claire

Instructed to sell our home, and regretfully the experience was poor. We initially dealt with an agent, who provided great service, but he left and then there was a lack of ownership, and the experience was terrible - constantly repeating information, not showing viewers parts of the home and not following instructions. Whilst others may have found their service great, my own experience was littered with flaws. I would not use them again.

I recently contacted Jones Robinson to rent my flat. Lucy got in touch and was really professional and got our flat on the market with 5 offers on the flat within a week. Really impressed with the service and the video and photos marketing the flat were the best I have seen. Thank you Lucy.
