Dec 10,2024I joined you for both my classics, after being with footman james for 25yrs, oh how i wish i hadnt, ive had nothing but false promises, i wont be renewing with you again, on top of that it took 6 weeks to get my agreed valuation, and after numerous phone calls to you asking why, i was told the value had gone down by 5000 pounds, on finally receiving it, it had gone down 15000 pounds, waited 45mins on phone to customer services where no one picked up, so i rung off, utter crap company wished id never changed to you

Dec 10,2024Quick and easy phone application process, I felt they asked the right questions and came up with a fair premium. I was, however, a little surprised at the magnitude of the agent’s management fee which I guess they are obliged to reveal at the end of the process. I’m not complaining as the final price was ok for me, but it implied that I could have gone elsewhere and found a lower fee. I didn’t want to do a bunch of shopping around just to save fifty quid, and maybe all agents charge that sort of fee anyway, but it would have helped if the size (or at least the percentage) of the fee was disclosed up front before I had pretty much committed to buy. I felt that going with Lancaster was the right thing to do as I had a motorbike policy with them 40 years ago, and a little nostalgia and loyalty somewhat overcame me :-)
