Nov 20,2024I was recommended Lease Law Limited through SAM conveyancing; I wanted to navigate the purchase of a flat with a short lease and I was more than a little naïve about the process. Joanna was incredibly helpful and approachable from the beginning, taking the time to understand what I was looking for and offering me information and perspective on the process without any charge, whereas other solicitors had asked a minimum of £750 before they would even talk to me. Throughout the entire process, Joanna and her team made me feel that I was in safe hands and that they had everything under control. I would not hesitate to use Lease Law Limited again and would highly recommend them to anyone seeking legal assistance on a leasehold property.

Instructed them in a Right to Manage Claim in the 1st Tier Property Tribunal representing 12 leaseholders and more recently in a Transfer of Equity of agricultural land to a limited company. This transaction involved a very tight schedule which was completed well before the deadline. I have no hesitation in recommending this firm.

When making preliminary enquiries, Joanna Botley, one of the directors gave me a detailed account of what work would be needed with approximate costs which has proved to be pretty accurate. She also answered any questions I raised promptly. I chose to go with Lease Law because of my early contact which made me feel comfortable with this company and I felt Joanna was both approachable and understanding. I was not disappointed. I found Joanna and Danielle (her legal assistant) both efficient and friendly and together my experience has been a most positive one. May 26,2024I was put in touch with Lease Law at the tail end of a difficult leasehold extension negotiation. This was at the stage where I would have to apply for tribunal proceedings as the negotiations with the freeholder had been protracted and difficult. I had the good fortune to have Jade handle the case from here on in. Jade was incredibly responsive from the off and throughout, providing helpful, detailed responses to all my questions. I was kept abreast of progress in terms of contract negotiations and the path to completion, which lead to a timely conclusion with the leasehold being extended as I'd hoped. Having dealt with other legal proceedings via other solicitors in the past, I can say without doubt this was the best service I've had to date. I have no hesitation in recommending Lease Law!

May 04,2024Elizabeth from Lease Law really took the time to explain the whole process to me and make sure that I understood and was comfortable with what was happening. If there was anything I needed to do, they made it very clear, which helped alleviate any concerns that I would do it wrong. If I had any questions they would get back to me very quickly. They were able to get me a 999-year extension when I thought I would only be able to get a 99-year one. I shopped around beforehand, and their fees are very reasonable compared to others. Overall I would really recommend them to anyone looking to extend their Lease.
