Apr 05,2023Michelle made my experience at Life Storage great. She took the time to show me the unit I was interested in renting, a unit in the climate controlled building. After seeing the unit, I decided to rent the unit. Michelle was already prepared and we installed the cylinder lock on the unit then returned to the office to complete the paperwork. Michelle instructed me on the lock operation, facility rules, hours of operation for the gate, and wrote down my unique access code for the access gate / storage building door on a business card I placed in my wallet. Overall a great experience and I would recommend Life Storage to friends. Thanks Michelle!

Apr 05,2023The price was very competitive compared to other storage facilities in the area. The manager, Michelle Rudd, was also extremely helpful and pleasant! So far my storage experience has been stellar--would totally recommend.

She was very thorough and did not rush me even though she was interrupted several times by other Life Storage employees. I liked that she explained to them that she was servicing a customer and need to finish with customer and will call them back. She was very professional, thanked me for storing with Life Storage. I was in Customer Service almost 40 years Corporate and thought it was lost but she demonstrated that there is still those who belive in excellent service. Apr 02,2023Tonya Smith made a big difference. She keeps the place very clean and orderly, a big plus for me. I also liked that ALL the units are behind the gate and there is 24/7 surveillance and access.

Apr 02,2023Store #1053, 5400 Westshore Blvd, Tampa, Florida: Site Manager Unprofessional, Rude! 32% Unit Price Increase in 1-Year?! Was charged a late fee for an auto-deduction payment and 12 consecutive payments, brought proof of plenty of money in bank at transaction attempt from Life Storage. Manager was flippant and lacked any respect or consideration to discuss what could have been the issue, possibly on their end. Disappointed as the facility itself is extremely clean and other staff are very pleasant.

Mar 29,2023This review is for the life storage on 747 NE 3rd Avenue fort Lauderdale 33304 I had a very bad experience there, the lady wanted to challenge me to an argument this morning and refunded my money on the kiosk and wasted my time, she was rude and did not help me at all when I asked her questions and questioned her customer service skills. Horrible I will never store with life storage again they're customer service is Terrible.

Mar 25,2023I was quoted a rate, and then the next day it changed, but I was there, and it was close before closing time, and they change the rate too much higher. The lady who was at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional gave me a locker storage way in the back couldn’t find it didn’t help me to find. This was a terrible experience.

Mar 25,2023I was desperately in need of a storage facility and after thorough research I chose Life Storage. The reviews were great and the reason I chose this company. Fortunately, I had firsthand experience of excellent service. I was put on a wait list by a very pleasant person name Erick and then contacted by an equally pleasant person, Jared M. Jared displayed professionalism, had good customer service skills, was thorough and efficient in executing excellent service. I highly recommend Life Storage. Kudos to both men who did an awesome job. My only thought was that the carts were somewhat shaky and a little difficult to maneuver....especially if you have to do it alone. It may prove beneficial if the doors opened automatically.
