My original review starts below, but could have been avoided if Customer Service processed a reasonable refund at my first request. Where do I begin!? Like many of the reviews below Ive been caught out by their ‘auto renew’ scam! I was looking for a quick and easy way to build my CV, and stumbled across the Live Career. I purchased a 14 day subscription for £1.95 in May this year, which seemed like a bargain to build my CV. However, despite what they say in their response to reviews below, it’s NOT clear that in doing so you are also signing up to their monthly subscription for £19.85 every 4 weeks. Do the simple maths, why would someone do that and agree to a subscription for 10 X the amount? Come on!! You can imagine my surprise to check my account and find over £120 of payments for a service I have not used since building my CV in May. Yes, I went back and checked my old emails and they do state the subscription at the bottom of your order email, but its not something you would ever look for if you thought you were agreeing to a ‘one time’ 14 day purchase. I emailed customer service to complain asking for my money back, and they cheekily only refunded £9.93!!! Whilst I accept I should have checked the small print and accept some liability, I expect at least half of what I paid to be returned. I even said I would give them a chance to do the right thing before leaving a review…. Well they haven't, so my review 100% backs up the other poor people who have fallen for a very cleverly orchestrated scam.

Nov 09,2024Two weeks ago I created a resume on this site, paid for it. And today the amount of 23.95€ was written off from my card. Without my consent, without confirmation. These are scammers! Do not use their services, they are fraudsters! On November 9, I contacted the support service. And a very competent employee explained the situation to me and said that the money would be returned and there would be no more write-offs. Hello! A month later 6.12.24 I want to add to my review about working with these scammers. A month ago I contacted the hotline with a request for a refund and to close a subscription that I did not sign up for. The support specialist assured me that he would do everything and return the money. But not only did they not return anything to me, a month later they again charged me 23.95€. For what?!!! Close the subscription and return the money, scammers! And if you need proof, I have saved correspondence with their support manager.

Nov 13,2024I am very disappointed with the service from LiveCareersUK. I initially paid £1.95 for a CV template on 29/10/2024, which seemed reasonable. However, on 12/11/2024, I discovered an unauthorized charge of £19.85 on my account. This unexpected subscription fee left me with only 15p in my bank, causing significant financial strain during my job search. What’s worse is that I only realized this charge when checking my bank balance, as I had not been informed of any ongoing subscription. I promptly cancelled the subscription after noticing it, but this entire experience has been frustrating and stressful. I have reached out for a refund and clarification, but the lack of transparency and customer support has left me disappointed. I would not recommend this service based on my experience.
