Initially, I thought the process was very smooth and easy, and felt I built a good CV. However, after preaching about how their services are free, I was made to pay the service fee, so much for free. Furthermore, they charged me £19.85 without my invest not even 3 weeks later without an email or receipt, completely shameful. I emailed and they said they have refunded me £9.93 and it will take 7-10 buissness days to be put through, ONLY HALF OF WHAT THEY STOLE FROM ME. I never signed up for a 14 day trial I simply paid the fee I had to pay at the end to extract my CV. Hope it can be fixed, very poor service

Having noticed a payment that I didn’t recognise I followed it back and realised that this company has taken around £500 from my account over a period of years. While I took up the trial period I also cancelled it with a month of looking at the site. Customer services didn’t answer and their website is less than useful. Avoid at all costs! Re the company’s reply.while it sounds like they’ve done something to resolve the situation, they ‘refunded’ me £6.75… given they lack of clarity on their page cost me hundreds I can honestly say it didn’t come close. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I am writing to share my experience with LiveCareer in a professional and transparent manner. Initially, I used their service to create a single CV and had no intention of subscribing to a recurring plan. However, despite multiple written requests via email to cancel my subscription, monthly charges continued to be deducted from my account. In response to my complaint, I received communication from LiveCareer confirming that a refund would be issued. To date, I have not received the promised refund, which has caused significant frustration and inconvenience. I have provided evidence, including screenshots of the unauthorized charges and the email address used for the CV creation, but the issue remains unresolved. I would appreciate immediate action to address my concerns, cancel my subscription, and process the refunds for the unauthorized charges. My aim in sharing this feedback is to ensure transparency and professionalism and to encourage the company to improve its handling of similar situations for other customers. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

£19.85 was taken out of my account, apparently your trial immediately goes onto a monthly one. only billings showed on their website was the £1.95 ones. thanks for a subpar cv i definitely could’ve made by myself and for taking the remaining nearly £20 out of my bank account

I used livecareer to build a new CV back in the Spring time. I genuinely was successful in obtaining a new position within six weeks of making the CV on livecareer and it was to an associate director level position within a new employer. The recruiter expressed that he liked my CV and this was completely changed through the tools on the website. I started my new role a month ago and am happy with the move. I would recommend to anyone seeking new employment or promotion.

I’ve recently used Livecareer to create a cv after leaving school and was horrified to find that they’ve take two unauthorised payments of £19.85 out of my account. Most of my hard earned money has now disappeared from my new job has now disappeared. I have just read other reviews that suggest the 14 day trial automatically moves to a subscription. If I had been aware of this, I’d have looked elsewhere for a CV template. My bank has basically said that they can’t get the money back and after reading the reviews on trustpilot, I’m not the only one in this position.

I am at a certain age where CVs are a thing of the past. I had to upload a simple CV for a Christmas job. Live Career made CV making very simple and the AI function is amazing. Very well recommended.
