Dec 27,2024Live career The agent who helped, Edgar, was kind, but extremely persistent in trying to make me stay on my subscription even though I have being trying for multiple months to cancel it. He also tried to trick me into renewing my subscription after offering a refund, then framed our conversation to seem like I had rejected the chance at a refund. Overall, a kind person to talk to but not someone I would work with again. Also don’t appreciate the deceitful and predatory nature of the billing system, I paid for one month and then cancelled but it carried on billing me for another two months afterwards. The product itself was good, allowing me to create a CV. The problem came afterwards, where even though I had already cancelled my subscription through my bank, I was billed for the subscription for the next two months, even though I was not using it and had cancelled payments. Then had one of the company’s agents try to haggle me to stay with the company even though I had clearly spelled out to him I did not want this, as well as him trying to trick me into agreeing to stay at a new subscription after offering a refund for the initial one. Overall, the CV services are decent but the stress of cancelling the subscription has cemented in my mind that this company are untrustworthy and deceitful, not one I would recommend to people I know. Like other similar bad reviews, the agent also kept trying to pressure me into accepting a lower subscription fee even after I made it clear I wanted to cancel altogether. Was continuously billed even after cancelling my subscription both through my bank and on the live career website. Please do avoid this company.

Dec 26,2024I had used this service a few times to draft up a CV with their templates however, I have since not used this account and have attempted to cancel my membership multiple times however there is no option to manually cancel your membership via their website despite their claims that you can do this. I also attempted to email them multiple times and heard no response. Additionally, I also tried to cancel through my bank but they informed my bank that i do nit have an account with them? this is absolutely not true, please avoid at all costs. they have been billing me £17 every month although states the membership is £11.

Dec 21,2024I got a decent job building my CV here, then I updated my CV a couple of times for LinkedIn purposes and to stay relevant in the market. Then I kept forgetting to cancel my subscription for a couple of months where I stopped using it. Last amount I was charged, I decided to cancel my subscription immediately (20 min afterward). As I wrote an email trying to get a refund as I won’t be using the services. I receive one saying I’m getting refunded on a prorated which was the full amount. I really liked everything from the beginning to the end. I’ll definitely comeback. Just wished I had cancelled sooner.

Dec 19,2024When you search with the word "FREE" you obviously want a free template, nothing over the edge since it's free, and when you play with words telling us it's free to CREATE our CV but then have to pay to download it, then you are wasting our time, because it's time consuming to create a CV. For this reason I give you 1 star, for missleading keywords and text. Also just in case I did try looking for any indication that your service wasn't free, so I looked for obvious links like "prices" or something similiar and you have none like that. You robbed me of my time scammers.
