Feb 11,2025Used once for sons CV then completely unaware this lot have been taking money every month for ages. A CV that has costs hundreds of pounds. Terrible company. Thought I was paying a one off fee. Unlikely to get refund as will say it was clear in sign up. Nope as I didn't set it up my son did to get help to find a job. Avoid or cancel as soon as you have CV. Reply to your reply. Say what you like to explain your selves with your T & C's. You know most only go on for CV once maybe twice in month or two. To keep taking it every month at nearly 200.00 a year is a disgrace. Not interested in refund the paying pubic need to be aware of your underhand business dealings. Even if the service you offer at the start is good. Poor company practice that quiet clearly earns live career a lot of money per year.

Feb 10,2025If I could give 0 stars I would. Used this site so that my 17 year old daughter could create a cv. In order for her to download the cv she had created I had to pay a fee of a couple of pounds. I did this so that she could access her cv. At no point was it made obvious that they were going to sign me up to a subscription at just shy of £20 a month. Fortunately I noticed the first payment less than 24 hours after they requested it from my bank. I immediately phoned them and asked them to cancel whatever they had subscribed me to only to be told I was only entitled to a partial refund!!! I had clearly not used any of their services beyond the cv creation which I had already paid a separate fee for, and despite having been ‘subscribed’ for less than 24 hours I was somehow only entitled to a partial reimbursement. This is most definitely one of the most underhand subscription processes I have ever seen. Despite being incredibly annoyed, the advisor felt it appropriate to ask me a series of questions about why I had generated the cv in the first instance and proceeded to try and sell their services to me. It’s a shame they let themselves down in this way because I would have otherwise happy with the cv that my daughter created and the step by step processes the site took her through. I definitely would not recommend.

Really good product, is good to help support you when writing the CV. The CV review service is helpful too, even to give extra confidence if there is nothing to improve on!

Feb 10,2025Absolutely awful. They set up my account for a one time fee of £1. I signed up months ago and was not informed that from January, they would be suddenly charging me £20 a month! I managed to get it cancelled and a refund but I am shocked and disgusted at how shady this company is. Even as I was getting my refund, the guy on fhe phone was still trying to upsell me, trying to get me stay! This should be illegal, you can't just apply surprise charges that people don't consent to.

I assumed this was a 1 off payment, or at the very most, an annual subscription fee. Certainly didn't expect to see these charges per month!! This is exploiting people in need of CV support and, as in my case, facing unemployment! Absolutely outraged.

Feb 07,2025Would leave less then 1 star if possible. Have used twice and on both occasions paid for a one time service and immediately cancelled any subscription. However on both occasions money has been taken from my account a month later. The first was refunded bit the second time a full refund was refused. Do not use this company or provide them with any bank details, as the will.not cancel as requested and carry on taking your money.

Feb 06,2025As others have written it clearly states its free. However I did pay the small fee to download my CV after the time I'd spent on it. Then to my surprise I had a monthly subscription fee taken from my bank account!!!. So I've know been trying to cancel only to cut off and still can not cancel without contacting someone who clearly is making it difficult to cancel.

Feb 02,2025In the search results, it says clearly that this website is free. This can be misleading as even though it technically is free to create a CV, there is no way to download the CV without paying a fee. And I can't see a single reason why anyone ever would like to create a CV but not download it or use it. It's also misleading that the fee is only clearly mentioned only after you have spent hours trying to make a great resume, which means that most people will be forced to pay, in order not to lose hours of work. The entire website is also buggy and not great, as I see my CVs not even show up on all devices and the times for the jobs i've previously had often showing a different date than the one I typed in.

Feb 11,2025The service itself is great in terms of building a CV but the billing process is awful! It appears you are signing up for a one off fee for £1.95 and then max £1.95 a month then without notification they take £19.85 from your bank with no warning or notification and then get rude and hide behind the T&C's despite the fact they can see you haven't used the service! Much better CV companies out there with simpler billing processes. I wouldn't use again and raised a chargeback with my credit card company who have advised if the charges were not laid out clearly, no reminder/notification was given at the end of the 'trial' period, the service wasn't used after the trial period and you have tried to resolve with the company themselves then you are entitled to a refund. I have just had the 19.85 returned by credit card company and would urge others to do the same as long as the above criteria are met!
