Jul 03,2024I recently used LiveCareer to build a CV for £1.95, but I was unexpectedly charged £19.85 for 2 months. The subscription was not clearly disclosed during the sign-up process, and I received no email notifications about these charges or any subscription details. This practice feels misleading and like a scam. I have contacted customer service to cancel the subscription and request a refund of the £39.70 taken from my account.This has been a very disappointing experience. Still waiting for a response..

Jul 01,2024Absolute scam, you think you paying a couple of pound for a cv but what your really doing is signing up for a subscription and they take the money from your account without you knowing. If I didn't check my account I'd have never known and they would have carried on taking it. When I called to complain was told it was my own fault not reading the small print. Don't bother using these guys they are a joke....

Jun 29,2024They rip you off. I paid for a months access and they slipped in an expensive contract that I never agreed to. This is how they make their money and cover themselves by saying you can cancel anytime. Worst is, I was helping someone out by doing their CV and paying for it.

Jul 05,2024They offer you a simple template which in most cases unless you’re excellent on Microsoft word it saves you 15/20 minutes I suppose. You then get hit for £1.95 right at the end to which you think its built now so I’m not backing out over a lousy £2. Then in typical modern fashion these people help themselves into your bank account and have taken £19.85 twice, that’s £39.70 without consent for a template, I have been in touch with Barclays.
