My husband and I used luggage forward for a world cruise. Our suitcase going to the ship was damaged as one of the wheels had been pushed into the body of the suitcase. On the return trip home, we decided to ship a duffle bag instead due to the damage of our other suitcase. Well, the duffle bag arrived with a giant, gaping hole in it where we lost large items like shoes. We also lost several gift items from around the world that we will never be able to replace. It took 6 weeks of constant communication, on my part, to get a refund. In the end, the only money that Luggage Forward refunded was the amount we paid for the duffle bag. We thought that using this company would be something we could do in the future but we have found out that the cost is too much as the luggage arrived damaged, items were lost and the communication was not good.

Delivered to our cruise suite as promised. It was great not lugging our giant cruise "essentials" bag around 3 cities prior to boarding our ship.

I will admit I was a little apprehensive initially, but using Luggage Forward was an amazing experience. Having our luggage transported to the ship in advance, so we didn't have to struggle with it, made the trip alleviated so much stress. Then arriving at the cabin to find everything there and waiting was a huge relief. The return process was just as easy, and went equally as smoothly. I am definitely convinced and am recommending Luggage Forward to everyone. We will definitely be using this service again, and again. Thank you!

Luggage Forward did exactly what they said they would do. The process was simple, the pickup was right on time, the tracking was easy and the confirmation of our luggage being delivered to the final destination was nice to see. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

The delivery to the cruise ship in Trieste went well. Then in Barcelona when we disembarked there was nobody. I telephoned Luggage Forward and was told the office would be open 9am Boston time. There is no emergency number. We waited 2 hours and then hurried to catch our train to Paris lugging the extra bag with us. Received a call half way to Paris they would pick it up at our hotel in Barcelona which was not helpful. I have used the service several times before successfully. But what if the glitch had been at the beginning and we had no clothes for the cruise! Not sure I will use them again.

This is the second time I’ve used Luggage Forward and they were perfect AGAIN!! The first time from LA to Tokyo and this time from LA to Rome. I’ll use them every time.

Luggage Forward had agents waiting when we disembarked at Southampton to take our extra suitcase with formal clothes at the end of our Queen Mary 2 cruise. When we embarked on our Princess cruise, 37 days later, our suitcase was delivered to our cabin. It was so nice to be able to drop it off and returned and not worry about it. I would use them again in a second.

After a brief SNAFU, my bags were collected from my hotel. Delivery was fast to Prague, but I had to argue with the DHL delivery person to bring my bags to my apartment door. He tried to get me to collect them at the building door. He reluctantly did.

Moving a heavy bag of unneeded clothes from a ship to home to free oneself from the load is an excellent idea. The process is relatively easy albeit more detailed instructions tailored to the clients specific travel arrangements would be helpful. The convenience of being baggage light can be a more costly option compared to, for example, airline hold baggage charges. In my case I was pursued after I returned by the DHL logistics people for an alleged customs paperwork error. As my paperwork was completed by a Luggage Forward operative on my behalf during a telephone call this was unexpected. However, this is the second time I have used Luggage Forward - once from Italy and once from Canada - and I would use them again.
