Jan 23,2021Update on my previous review, due to new version release. Have used jv16 Powertools ever since the first version (called RegCleaner ) was developed by Jouni Flemming, way back now. And it has been in my utilities toolbox ever since, evolving into what we have today. And I can honestly say that (i) running/using it has never caused me a system issue & (ii) on several occasions it has resolved several system-related issues, quickly, efficiently & without fuss. It has just done it job. In my opinion, this new, rebuilt from the ground up, version is the best yet in terms of focus & usefulness, and process to get it to release has been 'satisfyingly' lengthy most likely indicating that the quality aspect of the application has been extremely important. The Macecraft Support staff that I have dealt with, on the rare occasions that I have had to contact them, have always responded quickly & efficiently, and for that reason I bought a licence many years ago, and continue to use the application to this day. I would very much recommend it to anyone considering/wanting to use this sort of application (always remembering to back up before use, of course).

Jan 23,2021I've been a subscriber for over 10 years. About a couple of years ago, when they were reaching out to everyone to become a lifetime subscribers I asked them how long I had been a lifetime subscriber...they responded 6 years...and I felt I had gotten my money's worth over those 6 years. I don't know of any other company that has held to their promise of a lifetime subscription...most just say, we had to make a major change and you have to buy a new subscription...but, because I have been so happy with their product JV16, I decided to pay again for a second lifetime subscription...I didn't need it, but I wanted to show my support for JV16...You just might feel the same 5 years down the road from now.

Jan 19,2021As a user of JV16 Powertools since the beginning (Regcleaner) and all the changes so far I would just like to make some relevant points that I have encountered up to now. Since using the program Regcleaner I could see the potential of the program and joined in as a beta tester and did so up to JV16 PowertoolsX, this version I think was the best as it had some extra tools built-in which were really useful to the end-user and yes I know that they were probably available in other programs but to have them in one place you were using just made sense. Since the change from the "X" version, I did not feel comfortable with the program and just used the "X" version, but kept an eye on the progress of the new one and had it on my system to see what changes were in progress and now see it coming back to what the end-user wanted, I applaud the team for the work put into trying the change but it went away from the original concept way too much and lost faith with the community they had built up. I now use the new version as it is getting back to the original program but with newer tools and getting faster, so all your potential customers get this program and at least try it.

Jan 18,2021I'm using JV16 since many years now and has been always satisfied. I encoutered some minor issues in the past, but everytime, my problem was solved easily. My last update with Win 8.1 created a conflict with JV16 and this one stops operating correctly. I tried many tweeks but nothing to do... Stefan from JV16 send me the link for Beta version 6.0.0.1024 which I installed and my problem was solved. Everything is now OK. Furthermore, new features and look are great, but a little confusing with all new informations I now have in my PC. Definitely worth much more than the value of lifetime licence...

Jan 07,2021Bonjour , j'utilise JV16 POWER depuis plusieurs mois , je n'ai jamais trouvé de site aussi bien que celui ci , il est aussi conçu pour des personnes qui n'ont pas des connaissances informatiques extra, il nettoie en profondeur des résidus d'anciens fichiers restés dans le pc (période d' essais gratuites d'anti virus qui même retirés laissent des traces si l'essai ne vous convient pas , téléchargements de sites qui vous ajoutent des choses non désirées etc etc etc ). De plus en cas de problème quelconque on est vraiment écouté , aidé , suivi et cela très rapidement. Je vais vous donner un exemple récent que j'ai vécu , suite à une mise à jour de Windows 10 mon disque C a bloqué complétement , j'ai du le faire réparer et j'ai perdu ma licence à vie de JV16 , je leur ai expliqué mon cas , donné toutes mes coordonnées (adresse MAIL , lieu de résidence , règlement par carte visa , ma banque , le lendemain matin je recevais une réponse dans laquelle figurait la méthode à appliquer pour retrouver mon compte , je vous avoue que j'ai été surpris par la rapidité pour me venir en aide . Alors si vous me lisez , désirez un nettoyage de votre ordinateur super , n'avez pas de connaissances informatiques extra , désirez un suivi rapide , faites comme moi abonnez vous à vie Daniel

Jan 03,2021An excellent piece of software which has developed and improved over the years. Having been a user since 2009 I can highly recommend it. And the service given by the developers is second to none. When I had an issue recently with the updated version I received a helpful response to solve the issues almost immediately.

Dec 29,2020j utilise regSupreme depuis 2003 et je n est jamais trouve un autre logiciel équivalent. jv16 PowerTools est la continuité de regSupreme avec avec plus de possibilité .Très bon produit+++++ et bon service technique .

Dec 24,2020Hello, I sent $19 via PayPal on Tuesday, December 8th. Microsoft Outlook sent me the following notice: new.macecraft.com gave this error: Remote server returned an error -> 550 Mailbox is full / Blocks limit exceeded / Inode limit exceeded I have not rec'd the software or the key. Please respond as I love the software and want to upgrade to the new version. ______________________________________________ Update: Response to my problem was very quick and very helpful ! Dec 11,2020I bought the lifetime license two week prior to the black friday and during black friday sale the price was lower than my purchase price. Since i was within the 30 day refund period i had asked them to cancel the order as i wanted to avail the discount. They cancelled the order without any fuss and i placed order again with the lower price. This review is for only the support aspect and i am yet to experiment with the product.

Dec 10,2020While I was initially very frustrated by an announced change in licensing from a "lifelong platinum" into "annual subscription" and the subsequent failure to detect my account for activation on a new installation this got addressed very quickly once I raised it with the Macecraft support team. I don't use the product on a daily base but when I want to use it, I really, really have to. While I'm not the biggest fan of "automated optimisations", JV 16 has been my absolute go-to for checking registry leftovers, brute-force uninstall of programs that left an untidy mess, causing conflicts. This product saves me tedious regedit searches, deletions, new searches and is my first run before "restoring yesterday's drive-backup"

Nov 30,2020I have used JV16 for many years, ever since it was released free in return for a donation for some cause that I don't remember. It has improved steadily over the years, always doing its job of cleaning and removing rubbish. The latest iteration is certainly the fastest and most stable they have released.

Jan 25,2021Ich fand jv16 vor einigen Jahren (Windows 7) aufgrund einer Empfehlung. Meine damaligen Perfomance-Probleme existieren seitdem nicht mehr. Ich habe die agressivste Einstellung benutzt, hatte damit nie Probleme. Auch jetzt als ich meine Lizenz nicht mehr fand, hat man mir kulant geholfen.
