Jul 21,2020I've been using the Macecraft jv16 PowerTools for a number of years and I'm quite satisfied with its performance as well as the performance of the support staff. On occasion when I've needed support they were right on it and did their best to solve my problem expeditiosly. The latest release is top notch and gets the job done quickly and thoroughly. The tool is easy to use and the lifetime license is a good deal for anyone who purchases this software.

Jul 21,2020I have installed jv16PT 5.5.0.697 on three computers running Windows7 and Windows 10, and I find no problems with it. The interface is also very "user friendly". On another PC, running Xp, I use the old faithful JvTP 4.2.0.2009: the user interface is rather cumbersome, but the program runs as expected. Thanks!

Jul 08,2020Adding to the review below - The LAtest update does not even Launch - It is impossible to run a log file and they do not refund life time licenses once the programme does not launch - Highly Highly illegal to sell a lifetime licence and iyt does not work DO NOT BUY Absolute Rubbish - Fails to run through anything locks up on Internet optimizer It is really bad and customer service is so awful it is untrue - they ask you to make deep changes to your system that you as an average user have just forked out money for JV16 to do which of course it doesn't do - it freezes They keep updating it and get it more wrong each time

Jun 26,2020I have used jv16 Power Tools for several years and find that when one of my computers seems to lag, running jv16 is just the ticket. The newest edition simplifies the process and is faster. I have and will recommend the tools to family and friends.

Mar 21,2020I've been using jv16 PowerTools for more than 10 years, having used also its predecessor, RegCleaner. I have a lifetime license for jv16 PowerTools and feel like this was a wise investment. The program has consistently performed well; very rarely, if ever, caused any concerns, and never messed a PC registry after a cleanup. Sometimes, certain AV programs would slow it down and would need to be partially disabled in order for jv16 PowerTools to run smoothly, but this has been a minor gripe. I trust Macecraft Software and will continue to use their products.

Jun 06,2019I have installed the beta version and everytime I turn on the computer I get this message asking me if I want to allow this program to make changes on my computer. It doesn't change anything but I keep getting that little nag screen popping up and I was wondering if anybody else was getting this pop-up. I am running windows 7 pro 64bit.

May 24,2019I have been using JV16 for over 10+ years and have never had a bad experience where the app removed information where I had to go back and retrieve the backup removed data. I have used System Mechanic and consider JV16 a superior product both in keeping my computer registry clean and operative and in ease of operation. The developers have a proven product which deserves to get 5 Stars for their continual commitment to excellence in having an industry leading product!

Apr 16,2019I have used jv16 Powertools for about 5 years now and it has never let me down. The clean up is amazing, never realized how many junk files I had, how many broken short cuts due uninstalled programs not completely uninstalling, etc..

Jul 23,2020I am a lifetime subscriber. I have moved, changed systems and many reinstalls on my system and always they have made sure my software is up to date and active. Being an old guy sometimes these updates or fancy changes drive me crazy while I try to learn them. When ever I have gone to them for information or support the replies are always great. I would recommend these guys anytime and other companies could learn from them how to do customer service.
