Nov 20,2020I have been using jv16 Powertools since it first hit the market in the form of RegCleaner many many many years ago. Every update has been an improvement both in terms of productivity and presentation. When I have had a query I have found the customer service to be equally impressive.

Nov 17,2020I am using a computer since the Tandy TRS 80 was launched ! Now with Windows 10 version 20H2 I have discovered jv16 PoerTools and, thanks to it, been able to clean thorougly the registry and suppress a malware which waq detected but not cleaned nor by ZHP Cleaner nor Malwarebyte. I am using it regularly... say about once a week and its keeping my PC working faster.

Nov 05,2020I have been using Powertools since 2007. The program has gone through a lot of iterations. The system cleaner is safe to use though it doesn't have any privacy cleaning functions. Currently on my system the uninstaller hangs at 90%. When it works, it's better than the standard installer, though it is slower.

Nov 04,2020My computer is about 4 years old running slow and would very often freeze. Over the last couple of years I have on numerous occasions taken it to the tech shop to get it fixed. It would go OK for a few weeks then need fixing again. I was told it had a virus or its old and I need a new one etc. With nothing to lose I tried the Macscraft free trial with such good results I purchased the lifetime offer which cost me less than an average visit to the tech store. The computer now runs like it did when it was new "ALL THE TIME". Very satisfied customer. Edward

Oct 22,2020Seit etwa 27 Jahren verwende ich JV16; damals waren meine Freunde entsetzt, als ich vor Ihren Augen meinen Windows-PC, dessen Registry bereinigte und JV16 vertraute und in einem Rutsch circa 500 Registry und andere Einträge die mir JV16 auflistete löschte. Sie schrien mich an, du bist verrückt möchtest du so gerne deinen PC neu aufsetzen, denn er wird nicht mehr funktionieren. Doch die Freunde behielten NICHT Recht; denn ich hatte die ganzen Jahre über und das bis Heute, da ich JV16 verwende immer eine reaktionsfreudige und schnelle Microsoft-Windows-Betriebsversion am Laufen, wir alle kennen das Sammelphänomen von Windows und den Effekt, das die diversen Mikrosoft Betriebsversionen, der vergangene Jahrzehnte, mit zunehmender Laufzeitdauer über die Monate hinweg immer langsamer laufen und später fehlerbehaftet liefen und laufen. Nicht so unter der regelmäßigen Anwendung von JV16; diese Erfahrung habe ich durch nun schon durch Jahrzehnte gemacht und gebe dies auch immer wieder gerne weiter. Auf diesem Weg möchte ich mich auch bei Jouni bedanken, der die Entwicklung seiner Software in Jungen Jahren bereits begann und bis Heute zu einem, in seinen Funktionen umfangreichen, hervorragenden Programm vorantrieb, dass vor allem auch immer, auf meinen Systemen fehlerfrei funktionierte und funktioniert. Sep 28,2020I have been using the Jv16 program for many years. I am very pleased with how it works and how it is updated. Intuitive menu and many options for operation puts it in a number of the best utilities, without it my Winows would fall apart :) Andrew

Sep 19,2020I have been using Macecraft software for many years, and fortunately have not had any PC problems since, I always look for and download/install the most recent version whenever I notice that an upgraded version is available. Since following this procedure, I have not had any virus or computer problems! Kudos for their team and for me luckily finding their software!

Sep 18,2020I have been a happy Linux user since Windows ME trashed all my work files, just as I was loading a backup tape. Recently, I have been running a couple of Windows 10 machines. Now, I felt rather uncomfortable doing this, and wanted a belt, braces, a safety net, and a parachute, and went looking for reviews of registry cleaners. The review that caught my attention said that registry cleaners were a dangerous waste of time, and money, far more likely to do harm than good. Don’t touch them! Unless, of course, you get a copy of jv16 PowerTools! Naturally, intrigued, I went straight to the Macecraft website, and found that I could download a fully functional free trial copy. Great. Well, it took only a couple of days to realise that PowerTools not only worked; it was essential. Let me digress: Windows is the only operating system I have come across that self-destructs over time. Windows needs constant maintenance, and knowledgeable attention. Updates are an example, and justifiably notorious. You perform all those little rituals that ensure fertility, a good harvest, and good hunting, then you press the Download and Install button. Let us pray. Then, nothing happens - for hours. You could practically go on holiday. Finally, long after you’ve lost patience and gone off to do something else, and, if your luck holds, your machine reboots into Windows. But, Microsoft doesn’t seem at all concerned about the swarf, and oily rags they’ve left behind. Everything may seem fine, for a while, but then you start to have all sorts of interesting problems. Or, would do if you were unlucky enough not to be running jv16 PowerTools, With a single click, you can almost make Microsoft vanish. Your PC is yours again, and running clean and smooth. It would be an understatement to say PowerTools is impressive. It is fast, and it does exactly what it says it will. And, for those that want them more tools are being added. If there’s a problem Stefan Calin in Customer Service will respond immediately with courteous help, and advice, and if that doesn’t work you can bet there will shortly be an update that fixes the problem. I cannot think of any similar software that fulfils it’s promise so reliably. The good people at Macecraft work really hard. Give jv16PowerTools a try. You have nothing to lose, and I think you will be delighted with the result.

Sep 17,2020My name is Richard Freeze & I'm doing something I have never done before, "Making a comment online about a product or service." I am 80 years old and have more computer than I am capable of handling thanks to a wonderful grandson. I live in fear of the bad guys on the Internet, "Thieves & Crooks." You know the type. I have been using three different computer "CLEANERS" to maintain my computer and keep it running smooth. Now however, this program does it all. That makes it very easy for me and I feel confident that my machine is in good shape. I had reason to contact "Support Service" and I was shocked with the almost immediate and helpful response from them. "Thanks a lot!" Thank you for the product & the service. I have a lifetime license which means the service department will probably be taking care of me for a while. [Ha] I will never do this again, rest assured. Richard Freeze

Aug 31,2020I've used jv16 PowerTools for about 17 years, ever since I discovered it through Fred Langa. I haven't ever needed to use another programme for cleaning up my computer and making sure it's all running smoothly. I love how they've pared it down to basic tools because even though all the original tools were excellent, I found I didn't need to use them much as computers improved over the years. Still, I bought the lifetime license 3 times over the years, just for the cleaner, uninstaller and optimiser and have never needed to use another programme. That's how much I trust jv16 PowerTools. Also a winning angle for me is the customer service. They are personable, friendly and respond promptly to any queries with a friendly courtesy that is sadly lacking in today's society.

Aug 25,2020Been a Macecraft subscriber for a number of years and I love the access and information given me by this app. Over the years it has focused and sped up and provides good data about what is working and superfluous in my system. Backup can be automatic and choices you can exercise make it foolproof to use. A great tool to keep your system tightend up.

Aug 17,2020New user to JV16. Couldn't pass up the lifetime support for $30. Got the first update, installed it but for some reason my lifetime license wouldn't take effect. So turned in a problem report and got a quick reply. Long story short, I didn't read the instructions as closely as I thought I did. You have to select one of the Newsletter settings. Once I did, I was all set. Lessoned learned. Loved the quick response. Love the tool.

Aug 11,2020I am a recent purchaser of JV16 Power Tools. I had heard about it through a computer e-newsletter so I decided to try it. I liked it so well that I decided to buy a 1-year license. After using it for a week or so, I then decided it worked so wonderful on my computer and my wife's that I would buy the Lifetime license. I e-mailed Support and immediately within one day had a response back telling me to buy the Lifetime license and they would refund the amount I paid for the 1-year license. After doing this I had trouble upgrading my 1 year to a Lifetime license. I e-mailed Support and also the Customer Support individual I originally heard back from about upgrading the license to a Lifetime. Well, in the meantime I found the information about the upgrade which was in my Spam folder and followed the instructions, and lo and behold it upgraded. I left out a step. Anyway, to make a long story short, I am getting my original 1-year license payment back and my software upgraded to Lifetime. This was all done in a matter of a couple of days. I can't state how wonderful, competent, kind, and professional the Customer Support Representative Stefan was helping me out. I am looking forward to using this software and the two additional tools they are adding. What a fantastic company this is!!

Aug 04,2020I have used this since it first came out and today's version is 10 times better than the first release and the first release was very good. Every time there has been a bug I reported, I have received a response within 24 hours and within a week or so they would release a bug release version. Great Company! Fantastic customer service!

Jul 25,2020My problem was a licensing issue. My current version of JV16 stopped updating eight or 9 years ago but, because the version did everything I needed the I didn't bother to follow up until this year. I gave JV16 my license info and was told the licence had expired. Which I could well believe except I had purchased a life update license. Despite their best efforts JV16 could not find that license. I gave up and gave jv16 a review. However JV16 had not given up. Using my review email name and email address JV determined that I did indeed have a life license but I had initially given JV16the wrong user name and an old email address. So now I have a current version of JV16 PowerTools and my life license. Thanks for going that extra distance. Much appreciated. Good friends are hard to find.

Jul 24,2020I have been a user of the Macecraft product line since June, 2014 - lived through the extended delays for the upgrade to the new jv16 Power Tools - and stuck with it. Yes, I poked and prodded competitors but always returned to jv16. Across the years I have purchased 17 licenses to utilize or share with friends as gifts. The product is constantly improving and I, for a 76 year old technocrate, appreciate the simple but very powerful interface and Macecrafts's intense desire to to be the leader in a very competitive market. Give the product a test drive - you will appreciated its speed, benefits, and completeness.

Nov 30,2020Great product that is improved on year after year. More importantly, if you have an issue, support is immediate and thorough. They actually read your issue rather than copy and paste answers that have nothing to do with the problem you are experiencing. It's just not a registry cleaner, its a suite of tools that help you use your PC better and improve its performance.
