Nov 03,2020The quote was spot on. The truck arrived exactly on time. For the most part everything went smoothly. The men were quick and polite. They didn’t waste any time. The only complaint I have is that when the one gentleman was taking apart the beds in the three bedrooms upstairs he kept dropping the metal parts on the wood floors. This left some scratches and one gouge. I didn’t understand why this could even happen as he had the protective paper that he was going to wrap them in right on the floor next to him. Maybe he should be told to place the beds on the paper or moving blanket to protect the floors. Other than that, I would definitely recommend them.

Oct 16,2020I have used "Men on the Move" three times in the last 2.5 years. I like the way the crew is extremely careful with my furniture, they are polite and wrap the furniture perfectly. I specifically requested "Jeff" to work on this most recent move and yes, without fail, he did not disappoint me! This is why I use "Men on the Move". He is a great leader and takes the time to explain things to his co-workers. They are all a great group of guys and handle my furniture as if it was their own. Thank-you, Teresa Terlikosky

Oct 14,2020In my past experience with movers, someone always came out and looked at what needed to be moved and estimated the move. However, everything in 2020 is different and I had to try to estimate this move myself. It's very difficult to know how many boxes you will need until you pack them. It seems to always take far more than you think you'll need. So needless to say, I underestimated this move. But the crew we had was fabulous and could tell when they arrived that there was more to move than they had been told. They tried their best to get it all done within the allotted timeframe because anything over would cost me extra. They moved as quickly as possible and once we knew we were on overtime, they tried even harder to just 'get it done' for us. The good news is it only ended up costing me about $200 more than the original estimate. The bad news is that to expedite things, a lot of boxes ended up in the garage that were marked for the kitchen or bedroom. We're still looking for our plates! The crew was timely, polite, hardworking and took good care of our things. They never complained about moving very heavy items through tight doorways or up or downstairs. I have moved at least 5 times previously and in comparison, I would say Men On The Move was a first rate company which I would recommend and not hesitate to use again.

Oct 10,2020They were a bit delayed because they waited for a third man. He never did show, but the two gentlemen who moved me were great. I was amazed by how quickly they moved. There was a couple of ding noticed after on a dresser. Overall, they were very good. I am moving south in less than two years. I will use them again....

I would highly recommend Men on the Move, and definitely would use them if I ever moved again ( hopefully not...lol).

It was a small but challenging job, and their guys did it exceptionally well, providing me with peace of mind. I do not hesitate to recommend them.

In addition, nothing was broken. Peter was also excellent in providing us with an estimate and answering all of my subsequent questions.
