Aug 15,2020When the movers arrived at our new apartment they had trouble getting our couch into a spare room. One of the workers suggested putting a hole in the wall in order to get it in-which one of the other workers explained was not protocol. They removed the door to the room and never replaced it-in an effort to get the couch in the room they destroyed the molding and scratched the floor. After struggling with the couch, the manager requested payment and watched me fill out the survey which I felt pressured to give him a good rating. After payment was received he looked at my husband and said “We’re gonna go” They left the couch in the middle of my hallway and left the door for my husband to put back on. In short, we had to pay 200 for the couch to be removed and I have to have a general contractor come in to repair the damage. I work in the service industry and I have worked with Men on the Move in the past and had amazing experiences so I was truly disappointed to have this happen.

Aug 15,2020The Men on the Move team sent to help me with my move were amazing! They worked so hard and were great people. It was longer than the estimated time but it was not because of them. I think the estimate was just underestimated, so I assumed that going in.

Jul 16,2020The long distance move, both pick up & drop off was efficient and timely. Everything was delivered in good condition. David & Jeffrey, the men who moved my things into my new home, worked very hard, & they were incredibly pleasant! The only criticism I had was not about the men, but that only those two were sent up to unload; I thought 3-4 movers would unload (4 had been sent to the pick-up). An extra pair of hands would have moved things along more quickly.
