Sep 20,2020Men on the Move came recommended by a friend. We used them to move my mom into storage since her new home hasn’t been completed due to COVID delays. My mom is OCD when it come to wrapping and the Men on the Move took the extra time to reassure her and wrap a mirrored armoire, so that it would never suffer. We are going to use them again once her place is completed. We’d highly recommended Men on the Move.

Sep 17,2020The guys were on time, courteous and hard working. Men on the Move took me from the north shore of Long Island to north Jersey. The price was fantastic and the service excellent. And the girls in the office remained professional even if I was a pain at times. I could not ask for a better moving experience. I highly recommend Men on the Move!

Sep 17,2020The entire process from the initial contact for an estimate through the actual move was extremely smooth and efficient. The relocation advisor responded to all of my questions in a timely fashion. On moving day, the movers showed up on time. They were extremely nice, efficient, careful, and neat. They took great care in wrapping and protecting our furniture. They unloaded it at our new location without a single hitch. Not one thing was damaged in the move! I was very satisfied with their service, and highly recommend Men On The Move.

They are communicative and consistently on time. Winston and Eric are amazing to work with and I highly recommend Men on the Move. We have also used their storage facility and had the same excellent experience.

Sep 12,2020We have used Men on The Move several times now and can count on them to get the job done, no matter how big or small the move. I have used them to move within New York and outside of New York. My only criticism is that was the last time they were to have 4 men off load the truck and only 2 were on site. They got the job done.

Sep 12,2020Staff is lack of mechanical expertise - they told us a few pieces of furnitures cannot get dissembled or moved out of the door while our building handy man easily did it in under ten minutes. We almost lost a few pieces of very expensive furnitures if our handy man didn't come for help. Staff is not well trained. Quite a few pieces of expensive furnitures were damaged and their only response is the claim department would take care of it. The insurance that comes with the moving covers only $30 for each 100bl which is nothing, even though, the claim department never contacted us. Staff is not well managed, they charge by hours, but during the many hours that two people were trying to get a piece of furniture out of the door which didn't succeed eventually, the rest of the 3 people were nowhere to be seen and not doing any work. Staff is not working efficiently on site, some taking their time eating lunch, some organizing things on their truck when there's no furnitures there any more and we're still waiting for things to be put together at the house when it's close to mid-night, while we ended up paying almost two thousand more than the estimated price. TV is not even mounted onto the TV stand. We're left with bunch of broken furnitures including cracked desks, cracked file cabinet, chipped dresser, mattress with broken cover, a wardrobe with broken drawers, after paying for over six thousand dollars. There's only customer service until you sign the contract, none when the issues arise. They have sales people who sound quite professional but when there are issues the sales rep is nowhere to be found. You'll be referred to various other departments and people simply tried to brush you off. Would advise to avoid this company at all cost.

Sep 09,2020I could not be happier with the service that was provided by Men On The Move. They worked very well together wrapping and undoing some furniture. As I was unable to stand for long, they moved a chair over for me to sit on. They loaded and headed right out to our new apartment. Once there they immediately began unloading, unpacking and putting together the furniture. Also placing each piece and box where my wife directed them to. We were very impressed with the service, and concern for both our items and our comfort. Absolutely a company to hire.

Movers Walter and Anthony were punctual, professional and very skilled at all they did. I will use this company again and recommend to others. There were additional costs But nothing unreasonable.

Aug 27,2020This was my first time moving and it was out of NYC and the movers came so well prepared with extra boxes, tape, dollys, waters, etc. they handled all of my belongings with care and kept running things by me. They also helped me organize more things to bring home. They were efficient and didn’t make a single complaint or noise! They were so kind and tolerable I would recommend them to anyone who asks or anyone I know who’s moving.

Aug 24,2020We recently used Men On The Move for our daughter's relocation to another state for her first job. The move was handled efficiently and professionally. The moving men could not have been nicer - they were friendly and professional. They arrived to pick-up the furniture and boxes on time and delivered them on time. In fact, they arrived early for both! They also left both locations clean and free of any debris. I recommend Men On The Move without hesitation.
