Sep 23,2023LED Swilt Market Umbrella.. It’s attractive looking. Good in calm conditions. Absolutely useless if there’s a breeze. Had one tip over the first day with a 7 knot wind. I dropped another $300 on the supplemental weights, even though they should really be standard given the poor stability without them. And to top it off, less than a month in, those weights are leeching rust onto (and staining) my travertine deck. Even with the weights, they’re not stable enough to be trusted. They wobble, shift, and clank against themselves with the smallest breeze. On a positive note, the Sunbrella material is top notch, and customer service promptly sent a replacement when we noticed one of the fabrics had a tear in it. Overall, for $1500+ for two umbrellas, Midtown umbrellas are premium only in cost. I like the solar powered LED light, but that’s hardly worth shelling out twice the price of the competition’s product.

Sep 22,2023Midtown Umbrellas shipped the base express to me when I realized it was not included in original umbrella order. (It is unique to the cantilevered umbrella I received.) I was somewhat dismayed they didn't notate for ordering purposes that the base specific to the umbrella fitting wasn't listed as separate. They made the order right though.

Sep 22,2023My experience with Midtown umbrellas was overall quite good. The products purchased arrived promptly. The communications were lacking when trying to replace a missing piece of my order. The missing piece arrived, but no communication to simply inform me that it was being replaced and shipped.

Sep 20,2023I was sent the wrong crank, which I did not know at the time so my umbrella ended up with scratches on it. I told the tech person and I got no response to that which was frustrating. The amount of money I paid for this umbrella and it's scratched. We love the umbrella just wish it didn't look like I've had it for 10 years

Sep 18,2023It was fast and easy to convert our deck space in the sun to a much cooler shade area for chilling and reading a book and having a drink or a smoke. Not only is it cool, it looks cool as the burgundy cantilevered umbrella matches exactly our other patio table market umbrella and awning. It was fast and easy to install with the help of an online YouTube video.

Sep 16,2023The umbrella seems to be of great quality. Our only challenge was the incorrect allen wrench was sent with the umbrella. Fortunately, my husband several on hand. A really big help was we were also challenged in getting the umbrella to open for the very first time. There was a bit of a breeze. We called and a technician was STELLAR and patient in assisting us. And, it was Labor Day! Wow. We sincerely appreciated the help and the technician's expertise particularly on Labor Day! Thank you!
