Feb 10,2025Was a godsend when I could not get my car to start. Motoring Assistance was quick to respond to my call, polite and clear and assistance arrived earlier than expected. They could not start my car, starting motor issue. After calling the car dealership they said to get the car brought in. Called again to arrange for uplift of my car to the dealership and arrived 1st thing in the morning. Would recommend Motoring Assistance as very good value for money with the full cover I had. I have renewed my annual recovery for another year

Feb 10,2025Broke down on a busy slip road called to report the breakdown at 1.45pm.. was told ETA for tow truck was 3.05pm. Rang again for update was told as my car was an automatic will have to pay an additional 150 pounds as it needs specialist equipment to which I found out was slider plates which all tow trucks use. Paid the 150 pounds as by this point freezing and had no choice. 3 hours later still on side of road called again to which I was told tow truck will be another 2 hours. Bearing in mind I also had a disabled person with me. Police went passed and intervened as it was rush hour and we was in a live lane. They instructed a tow company to come to which I had again pay 192 pounds. Was on route for a weekend away the tow truck the police called took my car to Wrexham. Motoring assistance then got my car collected sent to Birmingham it was then collected from Birmingham and sent to Newport.. I had no idea where my car was as I was told my car would be collected and returned to my home address on the Friday. Had a phone call last night (Sunday 9th feb) and my car was finally being delivered from Newport to my home address at 11pm last night. Cost us 226 for 4 tickets from Chester to Cardiff Central.. all in all cost an absolute bomb would have been cheaper to not have the breakdown cover as they did absolutely nothing for me apart from cost me more money. Have tried getting in touch via email today and yesterday but no response will be claiming the 150 pound I paid upfront back from my bank as why pay for breakdown when you have to pay again anyway.. feel absolutely ripped off and let down. Would never ever recommend this company!!

Feb 10,2025First contact with Motoring Assistance was great, the lady I spoke to was helpful and friendly, and she told me what was going to happen. I only waited for 1 hour for the recovery truck to arrive, which was brilliant. Very happy with the service.
