Jul 05,2021I have used myshowplates for my business fleet vans many times, we have the requirement that all vans look the same, myshowplates have created a plate that is not only fantastic quality (better than those purchased through a dealer) but has my business website and logos placed on them. I get comments on how great they look and I must say that some of these reviews are not just or fair in regards to quality. These plates are perfect and I will continue to use this business for all my business needs. The service is outstanding and I get a response from my emails out of hours along with really helpful information. If you need a number plate made then these guys are where you need to go. Fantastic range, quality items, great price, excellent customer service and superb looking plates.

Jun 22,2021I bought some classic plates and they looked dreadful. The font was far too blown-out and didn't look like a legit plate whatsoever. They refused to acknowledge this and after photographic proof stopped replying. AVOID as they accept no responsibility for poor quality/printing. Their '100% Satisfaction Guarantee' is complete garbage, much like their hastily-made plates.

Jun 11,2021I’ve read some of these reviews and cannot understand why anyone would not award 5 stars to this company! I received my order very quickly and the quality of the plates is brilliant. Ordered lots of plates over the years from this company and they never let me down, that’s why I keep coming back to them. I did have a small issue with extras I had ordered being out of stock….they sent me an equivalent product and also refunded me too! Judge a company on how they deal with issues….and they dealt with my issue without any hassle at all. Also…if you drive a car then you should also know that anything other than a standard font and a British kite mark is illegal. I don’t understand why people order plates and then complain that they are illegal….the clue is in the name, ‘showplates’! Overall, if you want decent plates for a great price with fab service thrown in for free…then order your plates from here!

Apr 27,2021Horrendous AVOID AVOID AVOID Customer service is shocking. Don’t bother getting into a conversation with the so called manager, absolute waste of space. Have a legal case logged against these, but obviously takes time (my personal career- otherwise wouldn’t bother) Ordered plate and fastening kit (£2). They didn’t send the fastening kit. After so many emails, they literally would just say, without a photo of the production note, we can’t send. They refused to budge. I spent £30 on the plate and they didn’t send the £2 screw. Awful service- go to another plate provider. These cowboys aren’t worth your time nor money.

Apr 04,2021I used the design page and created my bespoke reg plate for my cherished plates ,at no time did it flag that the spacing i used was illegal . I now have a £100 fine and the cost of £42 at Halford to replace . Should have go there in the first place , sorted me within 2 hours and made me a legal road user again , and fitted them for me

Feb 04,2021Poor website plate builder which will produce non legal plates with ease. I contacted customer service who were useless and refused to sort out my issue. The fact that their postal address is not anywhere on the site says it all. AVOID these people as traders like these should not be allowed to sell. Saying that the plates appear to be a nice quality but will ultimately end up in the bin.

Jan 30,2021I think a lot of the bad reviews on here are from people who confuse them with A1 show plates, I did as I found out they share the same building, but unlike A1 show plates they communicate well and actually deliver what you ordered and of good quality, I have 4 stars due to them being in the same building as A1 show plates which I nearly didn’t ordered because of this , glad I did

Dec 22,2020Awful quality and awful customer service. 1st set of plates bubbled which they did replace only for replacement set to bubble too. Requested refund was denied as order was too old yet replacement plates were only 3 weeks old. No response when I mentioned this fact.

They state the price as £19.99 and when you spend half an hour designing your plate the you get the shock of being told is £4.99 for first class postage. The shock is when even after a week and you haven’t received your plates. Absolute CROOKS.

Nov 09,2020I have used this company for years and been happy, but the last 2 orders and interactions have been really poor. My last plates I ordered after some drama got here, they have been on the car since june and instead of a plastic face, they are vinyl stickers and a plastic, and the vinyl has large air bubbles now and unfortunately not just ours, a friend ordered a few months before me as I recommended them, and his are fully blown, large bubbles all over lifting the vinyl off. Sad thing is this is not how the plates used to be, as I am still running a set from them which are years old on my other car, these are not vinyl like the new ones. Such a shame. I did email the above issue and got told they will look into it, but no reply so have gone ahead and ordered new plates from another company (which are superior in finish, actual plates, not stickers on a plastic base). Sadly this will be the last time I order with these guys.

Oct 27,2020Terrible customer service sent me plates which were supposed to be bike font but clearly font was thicker and bigger than bike font I previously ordered plates had no issues and in comparison the new plates lettering was bigger and thicker had no joy in contacting them they stuck to its ‘bike font’ when I have proof in the way of the previous plates

Myself, husband, daughter, father in-law and nephew have all bought plates from here and they are fantastic. Communication back and forth via email making sure I was 100% happy with the plates before printing them and sending them. Can not fault this company and will continue to purchase from them.
