Scott was very attentive to us in this process, easy to get ahold of, very good at explaining everything as it came up.
Great customer service !
This company helped me buy my dream home in a timely manner. Not everyone was super great but no one was bad. The experience helped my life and was good. I just wasn’t comfortable giving 5 stars because I wanted to be honest. There were some things that I didn’t like. However those thing are not even major enough to talk about. I’m truly happy I chose this company.
Excellent customer service!
Honest people providing honest answers
Katherine Lee and her team are very thorough, they will find all means to get the job done
Everybody was friendly and understanding. They also gave us advice and insight as to what was needed for the loan. The only difficulty we had was reaching loan processors before the end of day due to time zone limitations.
I was impressed by the professionalism of all of the people that helped with the process. The Receptionist was pleasant and helpful. My initial call I was still not sure which lender to go with, until I spoke with Marchant and explained my situation, I believe his ability to really listen and his stellar professionalism made me know I was with the right company and from that point on it continued throughout with Brigette and Sammy!
I will recommend New American Funding, they do an exhaustive search to get you the best rate and find the best mortgage program available. Their ability to structure solutions and find advantageous financing sets them apart.
Very informative
Quick. Great follow through. Delivered what was promised
New American Funding and Ms. Jeanette made purchasing a home a dream come true. Just four months ago I was having to sell my childhood home after the death of my parents. I had a good bit of money saved for a down payment but no matter where I applied I kept getting denied. Unfortunately my credit score was below 600. I had done a lot research though and hoped I would qualify for a FHA loan somewhere. However I continued to get turned away. I believe I applied to well over 10 mortgage companies with no success. It was either due to my credit score or having little to no revolving credit. During this time I was living in my car. My pets were scattered all over the place staying with family or friends and I barely got to see them. My life was completely turned upside down and I feared I would be homeless for a while. In July I decided to apply with New American Funding. From the very first conversation Ms.Jeanette was eager to help. She continued to work on my application until it got approved. Once I was approved she continued to stay in contact continuously giving advice and encouragement throughout the process. New American Funding Homes helped me find the perfect real estate agent which really took the stress off when going to view houses available in the area. During the process of looking at houses for sale I finally found one I fell in love with. However I was nervous my offer would be too low and wouldn’t compete with the other offers. But Ms.Jeanette came to the rescue and was able to help me get approved for more. A few days later my offer was accepted on my dream house! Not only was I excited but everyone I had been working with from New American Funding was too. Ms. Jeanette and Mr. Bilal worked together to make sure I had everything I needed to close. They both made the process less overwhelming and scary. Anytime I had any questions or concerns Ms. Jeanette was always there. New American Funding concierge was brilliant as well. They really helped me plan everything so I could find movers, internet, home security and even help get my utilities. To my surprise I was even able to close on the house early thanks to everyone’s hard work. I just moved in this past weekend and I’m so grateful to be home with my family. I would recommend this company to anyone looking to purchase a home. No matter the situation I truly believe this company is here to help. I am forever grateful for everything they have done. Thanks to them I’m blessed to say I’m a proud new homeowner.
The people, in particular David, were very knowledgeable and made communication easy and enjoyable. My only criticism of the process was the use of checks mailed to my house to pay off the other consolidated debts. I would have preferred to utilize modern electronic payments to expedite the payoff of the other loans to avoid accruing interest on the loans that occurs while "the checks are in the mail". Had a very positive experience with David and highly recommend him. I am giving 4 stars for the use of checks.
For the sake of your sanity, find another lender to work with. Communication is slow and unclear, they passed my partner around to several different people, all requiring different documentation. After three different closing dates, they failed to produce documents on time, delaying a third time. Their employees’ experience mirror those from a pyramid scheme, devious and condescending.
Went thru an online application and submitted all required documents. I got a feedback after two weeks from a loan officer and since my home builder is assigned to another loan officer, he forwarded my application to the correct loan officer. He then asked me to upload more documents and I submitted it with the day. I would NOT recommend this lender because I didnt like the way they communicate to me. Things that I would suggest to this company. 1) know your customer very well and 2) make sure you get your facts straight. For #1, I need to explain AGAIN to the 2nd loan officer my loan application and situation. Isn't all my info is in my application and is already online? 2) he is saying my credit score is fair but in fact is excellent. He can request for a credit pull if he needs to be certain about my credit score. 3) he said the documents I submitted online is incomplete. This is not also true since I double check my submittion and it is 100% complete. Overall, I dont see an effort from this loan officer Brian Skarg to know his customer. I did not continue on the loan application and went to Wells Fargo or CrossCountry instead.
Noah Ortiz was not licensed in the state of Missouri at the time these documents were produced. Noah Ortiz produced a FHA loan in Sabrina Koehler’s name, September 29, 2020. Ava Fulton produced a loan in Arthur Jennewein’s name,November 29, 2020. Both for the amount of 151,954.00 total of 3 FHA loans as shown from New American Funding website. Brittany Aguelles' email November 3, 2020 stated the Note was damaged when in fact the note was never signed or agreed. March 2022 new American Funding sent the Missouri attorney general’s office a document stating that it was a Note we signed. March 2023 New American Funding sent Midland Mortgage a Note with different signatures as shown in the documentation. As shown in the documents provided I have sent new American funding documents showing clear evidence. June 2021 email questioning Noah Ortiz about the situation, Noah Ortiz stated Sabrina Koehler was added later, the reason being not married. Sabrina Koehler was added later, how is the loan dated 2 months apart with Arthur’s loan November 2020 and Sabrina Koehler September 2020? July 2020 is the date they have on the addendum only in Arthur Jenneweins name Stating he was married, he worked at John smith, documents are robotic signatures. He did not work at John Smith at the time. He was not married. Stating the no cash out refinance was due to a bona fide financial crisis. I have attached a September 2020 statement showing we were ahead 2 payments until November 2020. No payments were ever missed, we were never in any financial crisis nor did we ever state we were in any situation of financial distress. As shown in the document provided In fact we both were not working at the time both receiving unemployment due to Covid 19. New American funding received forbearance money Covid cares act filing form 4023F with the irs 2020 tax documents. I believe the information from November 2019 was used As you can see the dates 9-29-2020 Sabrina Koehler loan and Arthur Jennewein loan 11-29-2020. Arthur’s Jennewein name was removed from the original loan dated November 2019. I have sent proof of new American funding using unsafe methods including naf technology open source software and projects to hack into my ip address. I have more information and documents I am more than happy to provide, I am not the only person they have done this to the federal government has been made aware New American Funding has been fined by the federal authorities and have been charged in court for the same reason as I have provided evidence of this is ongoing. Underwriting as many FHA loans as possible for issuance payments including modification of documentation and information other than provided or not provided to new American Funding.
So we get hit with a Cat 5! Living in a disaster. Now the mtg co wants to get involved in the repairs!!! 1 YEAR LATER! and I'm supposed to tell the contractors to wait for this BANKS inspectors to come out and check before they can get paid! These people take 10 days just to get an appt!! I just threw up. The city isn't good enough! I am in the biggest nightmare of my life! Will never buy another house ever again. This is straight up BULL!
If I could give zero stars, that would be accurate. I was outright lied to by my lending officer, Tommy. He never told me that I wasn’t approved for a 30 year mortgage, but a 20 year mortgage!! Who does that? The payment would have been astronomical!!! I only found out because I was asking questions to apply for the down payment assistance program that he and I had discussed from the beginning and suddenly he tells me that he can’t help me apply for that! What?!! That was a shock! I found out that regular mortgage representatives at NAF CANNOT help with First Time Homebuyer Down Payment Assistance Programs. I wound up having to transfer to another loan officer at NAF who was “an approved Lender” and could help me get the down payment assistance!! Tommy never even apologized until I directly called him out for not telling me about the 20 year mortgage approval and for not telling me that he couldn’t help me get the Down payment assistance. He actually had the nerve to tell me that “You don’t need the $10-15K” oh really? I should turn down a $10-15K down payment assistance program? Who the hell does this guy think he is trying to DECIDE that for me!! When I started the mortgage approval process there were over 40 condos on the market that I could have afforded. Because of Tommy’s incompetence and then having to move my mortgage application to Ron, another loan officer Ron at NAF, who dragged his feet and was unavailable most of the time, ALL of those condos in my area are now pending or under contract!!! So, I can’t buy a home now. Thank god I can stay with my Mom because now I can’t buy a home! NAF is the WORST!!
Matthew at NAF was fantastic! He was patient and kind. He walked us through the whole process and explained everything and what to expect.
