We had to jump through the typical hoops in our loan application but after that things seemed to run on automatic. We've always dealt with Quicken and Rocket in the past, but I believe we have a new go-to for home loans. Thanks. It was a great experience.

Jun 20,2023Get it in writing. I recently purchased a home using New American Funding. I informed the mortgage broker that I wanted to move the property into an LLC in the future in order to rent out the property on occasion. The broker told me it was no problem and provided a link to their website that laid out the exact process I needed to follow. The process stated I needed to wait 12 months before moving the property. I waited the appropriate time and reached out their customer service team to facilitate the move into the LLC. I was informed that they do not allow such a transfer without triggering the assignment clause (allows the mortgage company to call your loan). I pointed out the documentation on their site that was in conflict with this position. I was informed that they do not support this and they immediately took down the link on their site. I feel they misrepresented their ability to support my needs just to get the loan closed. If you have any special requirements like this, get it in writing. They still may not honor it but you will have recourse.

Jun 20,2023This company is terrible. They told me I did not need a inspection than another told me I did. Hard to get ahold of. When they pulled funding due to no fault of ours they refused to contact us back even though I called and emailed.

Jun 19,2023Chase Dupree was my loan officer, and always communicated and answered my questions promptly. I had concerns about credit score and ended up going FHA. I had a lot of ups and downs selecting the right house, settled on one in Alabama, and right before closing my workplace changed my ability to leave the state. I then changed to looking for a home in Florida. It took months and several contracts and inspections to find one with minimal issues that had things I wanted. Chase was with me answering questions throughout the whole process. I could not ask for a better person to work with. If you are not sure if you can do it, just give it a shot. New American Funding was recommended to me through credit karma, and I was skeptical, but now so happy to own my own home again and not be renting!! Thank you Chase Dupree and New American Funding!

Jun 16,2023This has been the worst experience of my life. Ignore the fake reviews, NAF is an absolute scam and has ruined my life. I was only supposed to put down 90k, ended up putting down 118k. I was supposed to get a 7k rebate for using them as a preferred lender. 5k towards house, the remaining towards first months mortgage. I am out of the country for work all the time. I will pay online, then two weeks later the money will be returned for an error. I have more than enough in my account and provided them bank statements. paid over the phone, and found out the account number wasnt correct. They change it, and i pay online bf heading out of country. Find out it was never changed, my money returned and take a huge hit on my credit score. I call and make payment over the phone and demand this be disputed, they say ok and after three times calling have never been provided w the dispute form. Also, they said the 2k was put towards lowering my apr rate months afterwards. I was approved at a lower apr rate already! I only used NAF for the 7k preferred lender rebate. As of now, my credit has been ruined, never got back the 2k that i was told would go to first payment. Also, i said i only want to pay at closing the essentials not the extra features, i find out through another realestate agent that i was absolutely conned and paid for so much extra stuff that was pointless. I was completely scammed, now have to hire attorney to fix my credit. As someone in my 30s, finished school w masters, has a solid job, do not use this company. It has literally ruined my life. The 7k preferred lender rebate is not worth it!

Jun 15,2023waste of time-most expensive out of all other lenders their loan officers dont know what they are doing, neither are they competitive. only lip service of "get us a rate cost sheet, we will not only match but bEaT them" absolute garbage that they have been fed with by upper management. give false hopes only to say 'no we can't beat that' even with 1 point buy down they are so expensive that it's hilarious!!

It's important to have a competent loan officer who is fantastic with communication. I honestly would not waste my time with anyone else in the future. Aaron is dependable and gets things done.
