Tania was incredibly helpful and professional. She was always on top of everything. Even if she’s on leave, she still kept her lines open so we can communicate with her whenever we have concerns. My wife and I were nervous and uncertain if we will be approved since we just moved here in the US last year. But she made the whole home buying process smooth and easy. They are very slow to respond, vague about the process and qualifiers and not very helpful. Avoid. All they do is waiste time and do the bare minimum. The reply saying she was diligent based on your review of records demonstrates for me that yall be slow to respond to everyone. Look at the initial contacts I had with her and how long it took for information only not to really receive it. Absolutely unacceptable and I feel the reply is not based in fact and just to save face without addressing legitimate concerns. Also, I spoke with a few mortgage companies before narrowing it down to one and this has been the worst experience and the only mortgage company I felt inclined to leave a negative review on. I hope that resonates and yall do better.

Kari was always available and quick to answer my questions. Due to her diligence, we were able to close earlier than scheduled! I had zero hiccups along the way. I would recommend NAF to all of my friends and family.

We shopped around and had a tight timeline for closing; 20 calendar days and New American Funding came through. I think it was really the loan officer Shy Lee that made it work as he watched over it daily, rapidly communicated even on his cell phone during off hours, and gave me prompt heads up when things were in my queue. Closing in this tight window isn’t an easy feat and doing so in the state of Connecticut when you’re required to use attorneys is unheard of. Shy gets my 10 star review.

They want to do a complete colonoscopy before they can give you the first indication of what their charges and interest rates will be. I hate to expose tax returns, account numbers, RE assets, and ownership's, to an ON LINE entit, and a company which I had never heard, before. And then to find out they had already changed their name because of the trouble they go into in Mass. 37% of the reviews were extremely negative. I have bought and sold personally 50 properties in my life and no one has ever asked for as much information before quoting a range of costs and rates.

Stephen was a TREMENDOUS help! He checked in on me very often and made sure everything was adequate and in order. This process went by very smoothly and I am very thankful.
