Constant calls from Adam L Even tho this company knows my circumstances with M Health, They still try to ring my phone down constantly over one missed payment (a day late) any further calls to my phone I will be taking my complain to the next step. Very triggering. Needs closing down
Really straight forward process and customer service is on point. Caitlin is an outstanding advisor!
Luke was great. Email was very explanatory and helped alot
Very fast at reviewing my application , very good communication
Very questionable service, I don't have banking on my phone and so starting completing the form which appears legit at first, The first page - name, date of birth, postcode. second page - account number, sort code, card number, expiry date and 3 cnn. third page states that they will check your bank for affordability and access your bank for a few months. I thought the third page strange but clicked next anyway. fourth page, was quite literally asking for my bank log in details, the fourth page looks similar to my normal bank login page, similar but not the same. I didn't go any further because if I had then I would literally giving them complete access to my bank where they could move money, change my password and my personal details. they could set up and cancel payments they literally wanted control of my bank. Why do payl8r need this kind of access for a simple direct debit and why don't the do a normal credit check like normal credit companies. The company that you want the credit for (open study) and payl8r both claim that your unique customer login details will only allow them to check bank statements. This simply is not true, by logging into your bank via your phone (like they ask you to, supposedly to confirm your identity and affordability) or putting your login details on the form will literally give them full access and full control of your bank. I contacted my bank and spoke with the fraud team who confirmed - by logging into your bank via your phone (like they ask you to, supposedly to confirm your identity and affordability) or putting your login details on the form will literally give them full access and full control of your bank. NO ONE and NO LEGIT company will ever ask for your log in details. Even if they are financially regulated they do NOT need and will NOT request your banking log in details. They do NOT need you to log in to your bank so they can confirm identity or affordability. In response to your reply, this simply is not true, I use at least 3 of those that you mentioned and none have ever EVER asked for my banking login detail, at least 2 of those that you mentioned confirmed that I was correct and that by giving you my banking log in details will most definitely give you complete access and complete control of my bank account. All of those you mention didn't know that you are accessing peoples bank accounts and wouldn't know because you are logging in using the customers login details, so it essentially looks like the customer is accessing their own bank accounts when actually it is you, and what you are requesting is HIGHLY illegal. I'm currently looking at the screen shot of your application and nowhere is there a button offering information and if there was it would be false information because the actual login details actually log you in to the account giving complete access and control. What you are doing is a crime. ( We do also provide you with an information button at this particular point that gives you the full breakdown of what Open Banking is and why we use it just for further assurance) Also untrue according to my screenshot of that page. Update, I did your google search. How safe is open banking? There's no need to share your account login details, PIN or passwords with the authorised company you have chosen. As long as you keep your details secure, Open Banking is safe to use. Read that again. There is no need to share account login details, PIN or passwords. the very details that Payl8r asked me for. To Clarify: page 1 asks for - name, date of birth, postcode. (it did not ask me to complete my address) page 2 asks for - account number, sort code, long card number, expiry date and 3 digit on back of card. page 3 states that they "will check your bank for affordability and ACCESS your bank for a few months". page 4 mimics my banks log in page and requests that I log in to my bank using page 4. Page 4 would have given you complete access and control of my bank account and any accounts associated with it. Update, I called payl8r as requested, they admit to asking for bank login details on the form but denies capability to access the bank. I was told that there is a 5th page. apparently the 5th page is asking for bank statements. The 5th page is not needed because once you complete and submit page 4, they already have complete access to your bank account, in the literal sense. This was confirmed by my actual bank. It was also confirmed with Trading Standards and FCA.
I have applied and received a counter offer, where I did not take this offer, I fee like it’s a good service to offer.
Created complete mess in our accounting, warehouse and performance systems. Customers cannot finish applications... Customer service not helpful at all. Create official Shopify app, instead of manual integration - it will save you lot's of customers.
Very dodgy service. Offered me several choices of finance on a £1300 item. I chose the one i wanted and waited. I was then told they couldn't offer me that deal but "good news" they could offer me another "better" deal, that meant i was paying MORE. No thank you. Best avoided like most of these payday lenders. EDIT: So they replied with a stock corporate paragraph of garbage. I wonder how many people get the offer THEY CHOSE and not the one Payl8r decide they want to offer. To that end me and a mate decided to apply for other stuff. He, like myself has NO credit problems. He applied for the same item as I did and i applied for something different only this time i used other details and a different bank account. Guess what!! BOTH us failed to secure the finance deal we wanted but were both given counter offers AGAIN costing more than the original deals we had selected. Remember, we BOTH have good financial records. I don't care what mealy mouthed corporate garbage they say, they are trying to fleece us and i'm not having it. So i used another finance company, from another supplier and secured my goods with the finance deal I wanted, not what they decided they were going to offer to increase their profits. Payl8r, you are a dishonest company in my opinion.
Nice and easy to deal with website could do with an update or two. Also congratulating me via email every time I make a payment is kind of condescending .
Cheap repayments no credit cheaks down to affordability
Payl8r is the company that deals with finance applications for my skin clinic company. I have submitted an application form twelve times and it has come up with "no credit match". I contacted Kyia Davies from this company, and found her to be useless. She did everything possible to dispute my version of events and do the bare minimum possible to resolve my complaint. I am avoiding this company and feel Ms Davies would benefit from some customer service training.
Avoid this company at all costs not only do you pay double on interest they have such shocking customer service if something goes wrong. They only care about making money not supporting customers
I completed an order with AW gaming with the payl8r application for the loan to pay for it. I cancelled the order with AW gaming within 5 days as the order was no longer needed (my partner bought one too) and received the cancellation confirmation email. I emailed payl8r as their loan then appeared on my clearscore account a week later. I just received a generic email advising to cancel the order with AW gaming and if the money has already been paid I would have to pay the full amount. I emailed back straight away advising that the order had already been cancelled and they need to cancel the loan. I received no reply instead I received an another email confirming they have taken the first of my repayments. I have tried to call them, however no answer so I have sent another email again no answer. I now have the stress of them taking my money when I cancelled the order within 5 days.
Payl8r is ok, but I would like an easy option to make over payments on the website, if the option is there I can’t find it, I don’t want to have to ring up
So helpful great customer service
Straight forward, quick response and quick to solve my issue, highly recommend and il be using them in future
We are not the ones to usually write reviews but this has qualified itself that we warn others. We are an online retailer and signed up for Payl8r which was an expensive onboarding and monthly fee but we thought it will help customers! It could not have been further from the truth. Nearly 4-5 months of applications, only one customer got approval! Every application was rejected by this company. When we asked explanation, completely false information was provided to us as we tested this by one of our partners applying who has a perfect score. We are now trying to terminate this expensive service and depending on how it goes, will certainly report to appropriate body! And trust pilot we have evidence of all of this so make sure you keep this review intact! Happy to provide info with documentation
Luke Elliott is a great support at Payl8r. He goes over and above for his customers and is fast, attentive and provides a great service. Thanks Luke!
Luke was really helpful and got everything sorted for me

Jan 15,2024These tell you they charge 1-6% Interest to your customers, so you think 1-6% APR is ok. You pay £2000 to set it up. Then they charge you 8%. So today we sign our first customer up, and they company charges them 54% APR, yep 54%. I called them and they said when they quote percentages it’s quoted monthly not yearly. Now I don’t know about you but I am not pushing my customers into APR of 54 - 72% possibly 154% APR. Before you consider going with these please think carefully about what you want for your customers. As you are paying 8% of your profits to let them charge your customer up to 154% of the cost. NOTE: After speaking to Payl8r management team they have been open and forth coming with all previous calls that related to my set up. They accepted that the sales operative did not mention monthly percentage. Where they should have explained monthly rather than yearly. They have offered a termination of our contract and all fees to be reimbursed. Which we feel is good management on their behalf.
