Aug 01,2024Two main gripes that I had with this company - 1. Most, not all, most of the staff members that I spoke to over the phone appear unfazed, curt & unprofessional. Often not sure what the process is and pass you from one place to another. I spoke to a rep who answered using the wrong name of the company, paused, let out a huge sigh and then corrected himself. Rather humorous but not what you’d expect from a regulated company. 2. They make it so incredibly difficult to make overpayments or completely pay off your account. The only time the option to pay is available on your online portal is when you’ve missed your monthly payment. If you log on any other time there’s no option to overpay or clear the balance, you have to go through the rigmarole of calling, getting someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing and then being promised a call back. Definitely a negative customer experience that should be worked on. I wanted to pay off my account so I should’ve been able to request a redemption figure online and pay it off without speaking to someone or waiting around to contact me. Good points - Approved my credit when I have had issues with accounts in the past. When I finally got through to a manager in their telephony team they were exceptionally helpful & even emailed me directly. Reference told for me to use: 1131

Jul 30,2024Absolute rubbish - I have had 20 applicants so far and all have been refused or abandoned due to their requirements. I would advise all businesses to take a beat and think hard about the useful or useless nature of giving a company like Payl8r a set up fee and being tied into an agreement for 12/18 months at 100 quid a month or thereabouts - not worth it useless!
