Mia and the other staff helped us through our application. We are returning to the UK after 18 years overseas. We also have 2 small dogs. Placefirst offered us the best chance to get back and we are seriously out of touch with things. We were dealt with in a very professional and patient manner. I got very stressed at times but Mia was always cheerful and helpful.

We are currently in the process of moving house and Placefirst have been amazing from the first day. I have had a great experience so far with Placefirst especially Mia who has been a fantastic help throughout the application process. I also have spoken with Liz on a few occasions and she has been of a great support as well. Everyone else I briefly spoke to were always friendly and polite. The letting team have been very professional and friendly at the same time. Absolutely brilliant that pets are allowed without question. It’s our first time renting and our experience has been so smooth. Our resident service manager for the area Su was very helpful, she has been so lovely, so helpful and friendly. We are looking forward to moving into our new home soon. I highly recommend this company.
Rented a flat through place first for 2 years, was an easy process when moving in and out!! During that time they dealt with any issues efficiently. When leaving the flat Dean the (resident service manager for the area) was great, so helpful and friendly. Great customer service all round! Would definitely recommend the company! :)

I only really dealt with Liz at placefirst who was great and everyone else I briefly spoke to were always friendly and polite. I think it’s important to be polite and friendly in this industry as moving is always very stressful specially if your moving cities like I am. I think place first would have been an exceptional place to deal with if my timings for my move matched even slightly.

I had a huge issue with having no heating in my property for months from when we first moved in and kept calling Place first to have someone come and fix the issue and everytime they sent men to the house they would temporarily get the heating on my taking the boiler cover off and overriding the thermostats but didn't actually resolve the issue and the heating would go off again a few days later. After 6 separate occasions of men coming to my house and the issue not being fixed I called to make a formal complaint. They then sent men to fix the issue which literally took lass than an hour to do!! They then adviced me that I have no grounds for a complaint as there was no evidence they had ever sent anyone to my house!!! I queried this and said I have a baby in my house and you are sending workmen to my house and there is no record of it anywhere!!! I was shocked as they blatantly lied to me and tried to conceal notes so they didn't have to deal with my complaint. I wouldn't go near place first if I was you as they are complete money grabbers and don't care about the residents. They advertise an communal garden for you to use but then kick off when you actually use it and put plants out or when children have toys out there. There are mice running around all the houses which everyone complains about yet nothing is done!! They put the rent up over the 5% increase limit and then force you to sign up to a year contract or they will evict you and put your property on the market so it's hard to be able to move out of the properties. Worst housing company ive ever been with DO NOT WASTE TOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Placefirst Liverpool - I have lived here for two years and in this time my rent has increased from £850 to £975 for a small 2 bedroom house. There is no option to negotiate the rent, the office is very "computer says no". Now, they are trying to force me, as well as other tenants, to sign a new tenancy agreement for 12 months and are saying they no longer have periodic tenancies (month to month). Again, there is no negotiation or willingness to be flexible. This is illegal. I am trying to purchase a property, so I don't want to be stuck in a 12-month agreement as they do not allow the early ending of contracts. For a "professional" landlord, I have found them to be very difficult and completely unprofessional. *Edited on 15.07.24 - I have contacted Placefirst by email on several occasions and have left this review as a last resort because you state in your emails that the rent is "non-negotiable" and you "no longer offer periodic tenancies". Other potential tenants need to be aware of your practices!!
Mohamed was our resident services manager and was super helpful throughout our tenancy. Our house was clean, modern and well designed, and when anything went wrong Placefirst had an easy system to log a maintenance request and were quick to resolve. Even when moving out Mohamed was extremely supportive and helpful.
I was with Placefirst for almost 3 years. The first staff who welcomed me in 2021was the Estate Manager -Dave. Dave has been very professional and friendly at the same time all through my time at Scholars view. He goes above and beyond. Literally taking the estate like his own personal property. I have seen him do jobs that he ought not to be doing but can only be done by someone with great passion for their job. Even when I have some hiccups, he would nicely communicate the information to me ensuring that I was never offended whilst addressing the issue at the same time. To whoever is thinking about joining Placefirst, I will strongly recommend them. I have had very good experience with them but due to circumstantial reasons, I had to leave. I will miss the place.

Once I had the initial call with Abbygail she was a fantastic help both in securing a viewing at short notice and also taking us through the whole application process. Great service through the whole application process. I would hight recommend them .
