Nov 11,2023We recently recieved news of a slight rent bump and a new contract with terms that are a little too long for us. We love our home and have had great experiences with Placefirst since we moved in over a year ago but need to relocate for our own convenience. Generously, we were offered a shorter term contract, allowing us some time to get our things in order without having to sign ourselves up to a longer term than wanted. I highly recommend renting with Placefirst and getting in touch with their services should you need to discuss arraigning adjustments or options that they can tailor to you if you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation.

Oct 22,2023I've lived in Welsh Streets now for some time and I can honestly say it's a great place to live. I've had a couple of maintenance issues as you would expect with any property, but they are always dealt with quickly. The site manager Hugo is a great guy and always communicates well.

Oct 20,2023Lived in the Welsh Streets for 3 years. The house was incredibly noisy due to the communal gardens and there is very little privacy. Placefirst put our rent up by 11% this year and have sent several threatening emails about non-existing rent arrears (threatening eviction no less). The houses are cheaply done up and the company is very difficult to contact. They are the epitome of a profit-driven corporate landlord and they do not care about tenants. I'd recommend caution if looking to rent a placefirst property.

Oct 17,2023The first time I set my eyes on Scholars View, I was amazed at the spectacular view. The application , background check, moving in were seamless and smooth. Thanks to constant communication of the place first team. The efficiency and professionalism of Dave B, the property manager throughout the whole was awesome. He kept following up even after moving in to ensure we are settling in well. My family loves the serenity and ambience of the environment. Friendly neighbors and peaceful neighborhood. Oct 02,2023Placefirst Scholars View All very smooth and easy moving in (and out) thanks to Dave B who was happy to help with anything we needed and even took calls for help on a weekend or when on leave. Properties are lovely, nicely decorated and spacious. 24 hour maintenance team available and usually very good at sorting out any problems quickly. Grounds of estate kept looking nice and cctv across estate for peace of mind. Lovely safe, friendly place for couples, older people and families alike. Absolutely brilliant that pets are allowed without question.

Sep 28,2023I’ve been renting for years and never have I come across such a helpful, and present, landlord / agency. We’ve only recently moved in but, at every opportunity thus far, the estate agents have went above and beyond. Telephone calls were answered straight away, agents called us back within the hour and we were able to change the property we wanted to rent (I didn’t want to be on a main road) at no hassle. Due to my working arrangements, I couldn’t make the appointment for the ID check so the agent actually came to my place of work in his own time to help me tick that box in the process (HUGE shout out to Dave - who else would do that?!). Once we moved in, we even got a lovely welcome gift! In terms of the property itself, it was spotless for us moving in - I might give it a lick of paint because l the workmanship has possibly been a little rushed between tenants and you can tell that it’s a new build by virtue of the marginally poorer quality of materials (e.g. little soundproofing between rooms / how easily the walls chip) in the property but, on the whole and as an agency, I can’t fault these guys at all. The reviews I’ve read are outstanding and to be able to be in a property that I know isn’t going to ever be sold from under our feet due to the guarantee you have with Placefirst is the biggest weight off!

Sep 01,2023I’ve rented with multiple landlords and Placefirst have been by far the best. I’ve been with them for years now and as with all houses, issues have cropped up. What makes Placefirst a good landlord is not just their willingness to fix any issues but the speed in which they do it. Even minor issues have been fixed in a timely manner. Though their rent prices are slightly higher, the small extra cost is worth it for the high standard housing with dedicated maintenance teams. Pet friendly, a local manager who is always available and even best dressed house competitions for Halloween makes their areas feel more like a community. Top marks from me!
