My wife and I can highly recommend Prestons German Kitchens. From the outset we were impressed by the quality of the product and once installed highly delighted with the end result. At no time were we pressured into buying anything the product and service provided sold its self. I would have no trouble in offering a recommendation to anyone. Duncan & Sam
We had our new kitchen designed and fitted by Prestons. We are over the moon with it. The kitchen is of outstanding quality and the installation team were fantastic, we really can’t say anything negative about the whole experience. We would highly recommend Prestons to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen nothing is too much trouble and they certainly go above and beyond.
We have just had our new kitchen installed by Prestons and cannot praise them enough from talking through our initial ideas with Jordan to the rip out, plastering, electricians, plumbers to Steve fitting the units and all works done in such a short time too! You know it’s your dream kitchen when you catch yourself smiling every time you walk into it! Highly recommended! Thank you.
I had spoken to quite a few other kitchen suppliers and had plans drawn up, but from the minute I walked into Prestons, it was clear that Marks knowledge and passion for his Kitchens was far and above other places i’d been. He helped us to design our dream kitchen and showed us examples to bring it to life. Once we ordered, nothing was too much. I asked lots of questions and Mark always got back to me quickly and with a genuine desire to help. Once the kitchen arrived, the fitters turned up. I can honestly say I’ve not come across such hard working and conscientious people. Adam was truly brilliant, His skill is second to none and again nothing was too much. Overall, I am delighted with the kitchen and the service I reviewed. I’m notoriously hard to please but Prestons went above and beyond in my eyes.
My kitchen is everything I could of dreamed of mark who designed it made my dream kitchen come true... Then team that came to fit the kitchen was amazing could not of asked for a better team, would highly recommend to anyone Still can’t believe it’s my kitchen the before and after pictures are amazing Thankyou so much for everything you guys did you went above and beyond.
From my 1st contact with Paul who came to measure for the kitchen, to Mark designing and right up to to Adam fitting the kitchen it really was exceptional service. There was no dodgy window company hard sell, it was just a smooth professional service right the way through. Mark really is a master in designing a beautiful yet practical kitchen, he handled the balance really well. Asking for the plans to be tweaked was never felt as a burden. Due to problems at my end I had to delay the install date, again for Preston’s no big drama it was just easily handled. In short Prestons are a pleasure to deal with, a very professional outfit who will produce a stunning kitchen. I would have no issues in recommending them to anyone.
Now that I have your attention! My wife and I (Mainly the wife) are very very happy with our kitchen. The first thing that struck me about Preston Kitchens was their absolute confidence in the product they were selling. You are probably thinking all sales people are confident, well let me tell you I doubt any sales person is going to be confident enough at a weight of approximately 90kg to stand in the bottom drawer of a kitchen cabinet and do a jig to show the sturdiness and quality of the German kitchen, it really took me aback. To further emphasise why I went with Preston over your well known brands such as Magnet, Wren or Howdens, is for two reason: The team did not try to hard sell the product, I believe this is because they knew what a quality product it was and it would sell itself I asked other kitchen companies such as Wren etc to prove quality of their kitchen build like Preston did and guess what no one would dare. To the overall process, I had the pleasure and privilege with Mark for most of the time, I also dealt with other colleagues Jordan and Paul and I have to say from the experience of the customer journey they were all fantastic. No matter how many times my Mrs changed her mind about the design of the kitchen (believe it must have been a billion times) they always accommodated us with a smile on their faces, they even helped with suggestions to try and help my Mrs come to a conclusion. The fitting of the kitchen was completed by Adam and Kris, both were fantastic and did an absolute marvellous job of the kitchen it really looks extremely top end. As a conclusion I would highly recommend Prestons, not only for the friendliness and the way they conducted business, but because the products offered was fantastic, I have compared my kitchen with other people who have had their kitchens done by other companies and the general look, feel, uniqueness couldn’t compare to what Preston's offer. To summarise great experience, great people, great service highly recommended
We are delighted with our kitchen. Great service from beginning to end and nothing too much trouble. We felt we got a really personal service especially from Paul who quickly sorted out any little issues we had. Great after sales service too. Thoroughly recommended!
I can't recommend Prestons enough. From the beginning they were one of the only kitchen suppliers we visited that truly thought about some of the 'challenge' areas we had in our kitchen. Nothing was too much trouble and they are meticulous about getting things right for the customer. They are open about pricing and there are no 'deals to sign today' like other big brands push! The care and detail continues through into the pre-preparation and installation of the kitchen. Thank you to Jordan, Paul and Steve and also the team from Granite House who templated and fitted the quartz. A brilliant job all round.
As soon as we looked around and spoke to the team at Prestons we decided that this was the company we wanted to supply and fit our new kitchen. Everyone was helpful and the service was excellent. The project manager and builder allocated to us Steve was really great and all the work we needed was done on time and to a high standard. We love the German handless kitchen and it has really changed the way we use the space. Any little problems have been rectified with great customer care and service.
Thank you so so much for our perfect kitchen! We can’t tell you how pleased we are with it! The whole service from start to finish has been 5 star. Highly recommended! Thanks Chris you have been excellent!
Fantastic service. 1 year after installation I had a problem with my soft closing for one of the big cupboards. Paul Responded to emails very efficiently and had a his team come out and fixed it up in no time. Thanks again.
We wanted to organise the kitchen in our heads before committing to buying a kitchen. The design service was fabulous with a no pressure sales pitch. We fell in love with our kitchen and even when we had to delay the kitchen due to unforseen building circumstances there was still no pressure from Prestons. It has been a year in the waiting and was worth the wait. We are very satisfied customers and could not recommend them highly enough. A big thank you to all involved including the insulation team. Fab service, fab product. Thank you. X
We decided to use Preston kitchens in our new extension after looking at other options. The team listened to what we needed and provided what we wanted, from planning to fitting. Their customer care is admirable and I would recommend them to others. As the previous review reported they also give bottles of wine away, a nice after thought to their service.
Prestons get a 5 star plus rating from us . My husband works within the building trade and so has excellent relationships with a number of trusted kitchen suppliers and various top trades people that are needed to complete a kitchen refit . Despite having a wealth of options to choose from we decided that Preston's offered that little bit extra both in terms of customer service support , attention to detail and patience with the lady of the house ! in respect of changes , questions and explanations and in terms of design options available both bespoke and to order Mark's ability to listen to the detail I wanted and with the benefit of start of the art digital planning , transform my vision into a living picture that I could relate to was brilliant . When I wanted to see different options in different spaces quite a number of times , he delivered with the same friendly smile ! and professionalism . Unusually perhaps ? my design appointment I did without my husband . Mark treated me as very much the customer and didn't dismiss any of my ideas without trying them out for me first . I was also impressed when it came to picking appliances of Mark's knowledge of different ranges , pricing options and best look for the design . He understands how a kitchen should flow , how to make the best use of space and applies his own experience to help you make informed decisions always looking to the art of possible rather than seeing a problem . Moving on to the fitting of the kitchen , Paul as the customer liaison manager and project manager ensured that on day 1 of delivery , all parts were correctly delivered and that trades people were in the right places at the right time . When a small issue, whether the right extractor fan had been ordered, Paul wasted no time checking and phoning directly for confirmation to resolve everything . All in all over the weeks refit , Paul physically oversaw the job by calling in on at least 4 occasions . Now onto the real star of the show Steve, Steve is an unusual tradesman in that he turns up when he says he will !, on time and spends his full day flat out working taking only half an hour for lunch each day!. His work rate was phenomenal and it was great to see everything coming together over the days . What I particularly liked was the checking back with me to make sure that he was fitting things bespoke to me , were in the right place the correct height or the right tilt . Steve also advised on a bespoke product to fill an unusual size space and made the unit to fit . All in all a great team that work well together , provide a fantastic product , great customer service and attention to detail . A final bonus on kitchen completion was a sign off visit for photos with Paul accompanied by a couple of bottles of wine , a nice touch at the end
I had a wall removed from between my dining room and kitchen as well as the removal of a large chimney breast in order to give me a bigger space to house my new shiny kitchen. It is the first kitchen I have ever bought so I met with 8 different companies - all the well-known ones that design/sell kitchens as well as some smaller local companies to get some ideas. They were all coming up with the same layout – which happily met all elements on my wish list – however nothing made me go “wow” and for the financial investment I was making I wanted it to!! I was driving down Leeds Road one Sunday morning and spotted German Kitchens for Less By Prestons and thought I would nip in. I was welcomed by Jordan and Anna and in a polite way they asked if I needed any help or if I just wanted to have a look round. Initially I just wanted to look around as I was concerned that the shop name “for less” would compromise the quality of the kitchens – after having a good look around opening and closing all the cupboards, I was surprised to see that the quality wasn’t “less” in fact it was better quality that some of the other showrooms I had been to. I then approached Jordan, who had been working discretely in the background - I confirmed I was looking for a new kitchen and conversations developed around the kitchens I had seen in their showroom and my requirements - there was no push to progress the conversation to any next steps or to sign on any dotted lines. As I was wanting to progress, I asked about arranging a home design visit – this was arranged for later that week. The home design visit was with Paul and Anna, (I had met Anna in the showroom, she is also being trained to conduct home designs) both Paul and Anna were very friendly and seemed genuinely excited to help with designing my new kitchen in the new space now all the walls had been taken down. Tape measures and gadgets were busy being used and confirmation sought on my wish list of styles and appliances. A week later I went to the showroom to see what they had designed and Paul introduced me to Mark who had worked his magic on the computers. The viewing room was very comfortable and my design was unveiled on a super large screen – I was speechless (which for me is extremely rare). They had incorporated all elements on my wish list, but had a twist to the layout that none of the other 8 designers had come up with – it made perfect sense, how had this not come up before, I LOVED it. But what was the cost, Mark began checking my requirements on appliances and fine tuning the design, (I could feel my bank balance shrinking second by second). Then we were done, my dream kitchen was there in front of me, it looked amazing, never one to shy away from a difficult question, I asked for the cost. Again I was speechless (in a very good way) because that amazing kitchen on the screen in front of me couldn’t possibly come in at that price? There had to be a catch, it was saving me at least around £4,000 from other suppliers and the quality of the kitchen at Prestons was much better than the majority of them, and this included appliances from reputable manufacturers. Mark offered me some time to think about it and come back to him – again no hard sell, although I wanted to progress so we arranged for the next home visit to double check all the finer details (electric sockets, gas, plumbing etc). It was arranged for Steve to come to conduct the second home visit and there were a few tweaks needed behind the scenes – these could be picked up by the contractors from Prestons or I could continue to use my own tradesmen (I continued with my own purely because they were already doing work elsewhere in my house). I revisited Mark to go through the final drawings and appliance list – I made some additional changes to the appliances for additional features and Mark was happy to alter these for me – nothing was too much trouble. I was kept in the loop that it would be approximately 6 weeks from time of order to delivery – it was actually 5 weeks and 2 days before everything was delivered to me (delivery was at an agreed time and date convenient to me) – the two delivery guys worked hard lifting everything into the space – because everything is built in advance this was a tough job and I was worried at one point with all the packaging it wouldn’t all fit, but it did. The baton was handed back to Steve who was contracted to make the image a reality, he arrived on day one and I left him to it, I was excited to return each day to see how it had developed – I was shocked by how much he got done each day as he was working solo. I was amazed that he got the installation finished in 4 days. There were a couple of minor stumbling blocks over the installation process, however I was very impressed with the swift response from Prestons and the resolutions put in place to overcome these – by Paul and Mark in the office and Steve who was here in my home. The installation was complete with one little query ongoing – my footboard lights didn’t want to change brightness – it clearly wasn’t a big thing, and Prestons continued to work behind the scenes to get this resolved – happy to report the lights were adjustable so I can have them as bright or dim as I like. I also received a visit from Paul a few weeks after installation to check how I was finding the kitchen and to see if I was still happy with it - I could honestly say I was still over the moon with how the design had come to life and that the space worked extremely well for me – I particularly liked the twist on the design which had allowed me to have a wine cupboard – what more could I need!! If you are in the market for a new kitchen, I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Prestons, from start to finish it was a pleasure. I can confirm that quality is definitely not less however the cost most certainly was less – happy days!!
Words can not describe how we feel about our fabulous kitchen from Preston's Huddersfield branch. We shopped around like wrens, B&Q etc but couldn't find what we would be happy with. We popped in to Preston's Huddersfield branch hoping they would help us build our dream kitchen. Straight away we were blown away with the quilty of the kitchens in the showroom.a quick wander upstairs and the wife saw the units she wanted straight away. Made an appointment for the surveyor to come and measure the kitchen and looked for plumbing etc. Then we were invited back to the showroom to design our dream kitchen. The team realised straight away that what the wife wants the wife gets. They didn't disappoint us and designed our dream kitchen. This was shown to us on a big tv screen. Now to the build. This was a complete revamp and there were major hurdles to overcome. However Adam with his team of Chris and Christoph with Steve the electrician worked miracles to finish our kitchen to a very high standard. The customer services is unbelievable and the team really value their customers. We have a magnificent kitchen. Thank you Preston's .
I am so very pleased with my kitchen from Prestons. From the initial design phase, which comprised of advise and recommendations. To the quality of the kitchen and the exceptional craftsmanship from Steve the fitter and all trades involved. The service from the team was excellent, friendly and efficient. The whole process was managed like clockwork. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended Prestons. Bal
Our Nobilia kitchen looks amazing. It’s been nice to deal with such a professional company from the initial design to the final fitted product. Our kitchen design was displayed on a large TV screen at Prestons showroom, which was really helpful to see it come to life. The kitchen installation was very straight forward, the fitters are very experienced and all went to plan.

Aug 05,2020To anyone thinking about a new kitchen, take a look at Prestons. I visited their Huddersfield showroom and was blown away by the quality of the product; I asked for a design, which was completed quickly. A few changes and discussions later, I'd signed-up - and I'm so glad I did. We picked a date which a. gave time for the kitchen to be manufactured, and b. gave me time to take out the old kitchen and complete any remedial work (and, to be fair, save some money too); this was an investment but I didn't want to spend so much: SO GLAD I DID THOUGH. As per the agreement, Mike [Burn], the fitter, (should read 'artist'), arrived early on 29th June; kitchen delivered a short while later. I could tell right from the start that Mike was the fitter I wanted; such a perfectionist - and engaging when he wanted to 'run things by me'. Mike has done what can only be described as an excellent job; thanks so much again Mike. My kitchen is only small, but Prestons and Mike were up for the challenge: make a small space work in the best way possible. The key call outs for me are the super high quality of the Nobilia kitchen; the excellent way Mike worked the materials for the absolute best finish possible, and in general the service from Prestons (Paul, the guy who visited to do the initial measure, even turned-up to see how things were going). Mark at the store did a great job with the design; I don't think I'm overly picky about things, but when you're spending quite a chunk of money, you want things right. Mark took my requests onboard and I'm amazed by the results. Thanks so much to everyone at Prestons- skint, but really happy. Simon - Halifax.
